Time to Harvest It's harvesting time down the allotment right now and hubby and I have been successful with pretty much everything we have turned our hands to for the second year in a row. That's not to say it has been easy, because it hasn't and you do have to put in a fair amount of time and effort to attempt to keep the weeds at bay as well as feed your crops, water them, check for damage and ensure they aren't being eaten by birds and other animals especially slugs and snails which are a total pain in the you know what.
