Lakeland Silicone Cupcake Cases

These cupcake cases were given to me as a gift for my birthday a couple of years ago. My soon to be mother-in-law knows how much I love baking so she always buys cookware and bakeware as a thoughtful gift. They are from Lakeland, and they come in four different colours: blue, green, yellow and pink. There are twelve in a set, which consists of three of each colour. These make using paper cases a thing of the past. I do put them in a patty case baking tray - just makes using them easy to handle to place in the oven but a flat tray may work just as well. I leave the patty cakes in them for about 5mins after removing from the oven. They pop out easily. They can be washed in the dishwasher – just make sure they are located where they can’t flip around too much. Otherwise they fill with dirty water. I find washing by hand is just as quick. I make a wheat free “bread” muffins for my husband and found they left a lot of the food on the paper cases. In these ... more
