Eye makeup remover before I found this was a tricky one for me to get right - although the rest of my skin behaves pretty normally, I found that eye makeup removers often felt harsh on my eyes and would irritate them, or they were just too gentle and not effective enough to remove every last trace of my makeup. I am a big eyeliner wearer, so a good makeup remover is really important to my routine.
Lancome market this as being suitable for removing all types of eye makeup, including waterproof products, being suitable even for sensitive eyes and for contact lens wearers and is Ophthalmologist-tested for safety.
Bi Facil comes in a transpararent plastic bottle and the liquid itself is a bright blue colour, giving it a bright and funky appearance. It's a water and oil based remover and there are two different blues - the darker sits on top of the the lighter - reflecting the two different elements of the remover, oils and water. To use, you need to shake the bottle to mix the two liquids together and then apply the liquid to a cotton wool pad and simply stroke across the eyelids.
The liquid itself has a light floral scent and is very runny, like water (I've recently used a gel based eye makeup remover and it was a very different experience) and soaks into the cotton wool well. It feels lightweight and not at all heavy on the eyes and is very soothing and doesn't irritate my eyes at all.
I find this is really effective in removing makeup - even waterproof mascara can be removed in 2-3 strokes and there is no need to be aggressive with it, just a gentle amount of pressure.
My only complaint with this product is that Lancome do insist that it doesn't leave an oily residue after use. Well that's just not true - after using it the skin around the eyes feels distinctly oily. It's not something that really bothers me, as I remove my eye makeup before cleansing my whole face, so the oily residue is removed on cleansing. I also like the oiliness in a sense, because mascara is known to be quite drying to the lashes and it gives the feel that they are being slightly conditioned.
Bi Facil is in my opinion very expensive, retailing at £18.50 for 125ml. But as I said earlier, I have never bought a bottle of this and to be honest I don't know anyone else who has either! The key is to buy two Lancome products at a time when they are running a promotion and you will more than likely receive one of these in a sample pack. The sample size is 30ml and will last a long time.

...use a good branded mascara, lancome dior and estee lauder are my faveourites, however I struggle to get a good remover for them. I found that tthis removcer did do its job. I removed the mascara using a cotton pad with a small amount of the remover on. It took it off with relative ease. However, I did not find this product non oily at all. I felt like i then had to go and scrub my face to get the oil off! In fact on closer inspection the actual clear ... ...On the packaging it doesn't mention washing your face with water after application, however I could not have left it on. My face felt like I had used a really nasty moisturiser and something was still sitting on their. I was also dissapointed by the smell of this. I thought the smell reminded me of a disenfectant, defintely not an attrqactive makey smell. I understand that this product is for sensitive eyes so it shouldn't ne laced with scent, but ...

...lucky enough to receive the Lancome Bi Facil double-Action Eye Makeup remover in a bonus gift pack on a purchase I made from lancome. This way I was able to try the product that came in a small size before actually buying it. Although it seemed a little pricey as compared to other brands of eye make up removers, I found it totally worth the purpose I bought it for. It comes in a plastic aqua blue bottle with a twist open white lid. It dispenses in ... ...with a cotton ball or cotton pad quite conveniently with gentle motions. I generally take small amounts on a piece of cotton and press it gently on the made up area and swipe it with a soft motion. The make-up removes very easily and it leaves the skin squeaky clean. I would greatly recommend this product to all you friends there looking for a good eye make-up remover. ...

I was quite pleased when I bought a kit on e-Bay with a full-sized Lancome mascara, eye pencil and a small sample size of this Bi-Facil eye make-up remover. (It was a bargain... honest!)
