After trying so many tans from st tropez to lancome, I usually look for a real 'sun effect' from a tan, but this tan did not look like the average tan, but I surprizingly loved the way it gave my skin a glowing sexy bronze look, which is great if your showing a lot of skin or on a night out.
However, I didn't find that it was too good for the beach, it is slightly water proof, but only ever so slightly, so you have to be very careful, which is not great when your on the beach!!!
This is very easy to apply, but it does streak slightly if you don't rub it in as it says on the instructions.
The secret is to rub it in slightly and not too much, then buff it after its dry.
I found the result was quiet a sexy bronze effect on my skin, rather than a dark tan - it was more of a shiny bronzer than a tan - but actually i liked the effect...

2) It goes on evenly, without those heavy lines that some self-tanners leave.
3) It dries easily and acts quickly. (By quickly, I mean that the tanning effects are noticeable on the skin within an hour and it is quite natural too).
A radiant glow is the order of the day. The Soleil FlashBronzer, contains hydrating agents along with pure Vitamin E to help to ‘preserve skins beauty’ according to Lancôme. The skin gets a mild, sun-kissed glow effect after using this product. One word of warning this range of products does NOT contain Sun Protection Factor.

...When it comes to self tanning, many products don't bring out the desired results. Many cheap self tanning lotions such as dove, or johnsons aren't to bad for a quick fix, but when i have come to use them the 1st effects arent to bad, then they develope into patchy peally orange dirt marks on your skin.
If you want to self tan, cheap isnt always the answer. I believe that for better results you need to pay between atleast £20 -£40 for a decent all over BROWN looking tan, not mention it must be a well known make such as St Tropez.
This is were Lancome comes into its own. Its a pretty good price for what it does. The cream is quite thin which actually adds to its easy application.
You know that nasty stale smell you get after application, well good news lancome smells great, well not as strong, that stale smell is the actuall tanning...

After trying various self tanning creams I had almost given up. I've experienced straky legs, patchy legs, orange face - you mention it I've experienced it!!..and usually just before a big night out!!
