Lancome Climat

This is a beautiful fragrance which was first made in1967. It is said to have floral notes, but it isn't too obviously flowery. It isn't as floral as Chanel No 5. It isn't too heavy or sweet but is very recognisable and lingers. Perfume is a very subjective matter but I think this one is unikely to offend. unless you are unlucky enough for it not to suit you. I sprayed some on myself from a tester and then met my husband outside the shop and asked him if he knew what it was and he did not recognise it whereas he normally is able to distinguish which perfume I am wearing. This is the one you want and it can be bought in a very large London dept store. (I had mine sent by mail order which was outrageously expensive)
The price of Climat eau de toilette (it is very powerful so I don't buy the perfume) when I last purchased it at the beginning of 2006 was £35. It comes in a distinctive and traditional blue box which will distinguish it from the limited edition box. Sometimes the original comes up for sale on eBay and sells for almost as much as buying it fresh. It shows there are some true lovers of it out there!
