Drawbacks:
It’s not cheap, but I do think its value for money (you’re saving by not buying separate cleanser and toner).

Why I like it: It’s quick and easy to use. It’s refreshing, and removes virtually all make-up including mascara without a problem (very gentle but effective on the delicate eye area). Its especially good if you’re tired or in a hurry – 1 easy step and your face is clean (very handy if you’ve had a late night!)
It comes in the following sizes: 200ml – depending on where you buy it about £14.99 (lasts about 4/5 weeks) 400ml – about £19.99 (lasts approx 7/8 weeks)
Obviously the 400ml size is better value – I try and wait for a Lancome ‘gift with purchase’ and stock up buying a couple at once and get some free goodies at the same time.
Drawbacks: It’s not cheap, but I do think its value for money (you’re saving by not buying separate cleanser and toner). The larger size is a bit heavy – cumbersome if you’re travelling around. That said, if I’m going away for the weekend I tend to decant some into a smaller bottle – and that is my cleansing routine sorted!
I’ve got combination skin and feel it cleanses my face thoroughly – both the oily T-zone area, and areas that are slightly dry (like my cheeks) leaving my skin fairly soft and bright. I’m a lucky girl as I don’t have sensitive skin, so I can’t vouch for it in that respect.
I have tried Galateis Clarte (Lancome’s Cleansing Fluid for normal/combination skin) & Tonique Clarte (the toner) but the cleanser is too gloopy, and although the toner is very nice the effect is not as thorough as Bienfait 2 in 1.
This is a quick, effective daily cleanser - some people may not feel it cleans quite as deeply as they want, especially those with oilier combination skin. Also it’s not really an option for people who like to ‘wash’ their face with water.
Advantages: New 3 in 1!!!! Its the same but better!!! Disadvantages: Rather Expensive!!
know this is supposed to be for 2 in 1 version of Eau De Bienfait, but they don't have a 3 in 1 and I couldn't be bothered to propose it!
* What is it? *
It is called Eau De Bienfait and it is a 3 in 1 Cleansing and Toning Lotion for Face and Eyes. I know that it says Lotion but like the 2 in 1 it is a light blue liquid and just like water. It is designed for Normal to Combination Skin and is VERY refreshing.
* What Lancôme say *
On the back ... ..."This remarkable cleansing lotion offers triple benefits: it removes face and eye make-up and, because it contains extracts of pineapple and papaya, it leaves your skin feeling revitalised and toned."
* What I like about it *
*It does virtually everything in one action, after using this all you need to do is rub in a bit of moisturiser, liquid or cream (depending on your skin type), and your left with lovely smooth skin.
*It feels like water on ...

Advantages: easy to use, feels like water Disadvantages: need to use a lot if you have heavy make up/very dirty face!
I was first bought this as a birthday gift, having been using cleansing wipes, and have now been using the product for about 9 years. I loved it immediately - it just feels like water; no grease or slime. I would say that my skin is on the dry side of normal, but I never felt it dried out my skin. It is also easy to decant into smaller containers for travelling. Several years ago, I started using Liz Earle's cleanse and polish, which I also love ... ...de Bienfait you need to use a lot of product to remove heavy make up, and so I now tend to use cleanse and polish at night, and Eau de Bienfait in the morning, and get the best of both worlds. Eau de Bienfait is not the cheapest, but it is an excellent product. The only problem is that the last time I went to buy some (some months ago now) I was told that it has been discontinued!!! ...
