Lancome Hypnose Waterproof Mascara - Disappointing

Advantages: Attractive, easy to hold tube and wand.
Disadvantages: Sticky texture, clumps on the eyelashes.

, actually disliking one of their products! Specifically, I am describing the Waterproof version of this line. The "ordinary" Hypnose may be fine, but for me this particular product is a real disappointment. Why did I not notice this at the make-up session? Who knows, but could it have something to do with the fact that when you go for a make up a small disposable brush is used for applying mascara rather than the brush you will use with the product you buy. (For hygiene reasons.) I gather the brush plays a great part in how the mascara applies. So what is the point I am making here? It is certainly not to put people off from buying Lancome products. The company produces some excellent quality lines. The point is simply that even if you are familiar with a brand don't assume that all products will suit you personally. Don't be afraid to ...

Lancome Hypnose is the Best Mascara

Advantages: Has an instant thicken and lengthen effect.
Disadvantages: Pricey

This is the best mascara I have ever used. If like me, you have poor quality lashes, then this is definitely the one to buy. As well as being poor quality my lashes tend to be brittle and come out when removing make up. One sweep of this has a noticeable lengthen and thicken effect and not like some products where you have to keep going over and over your lashes in order to see some visible difference. It comes off really easily with a make up remover and does not run or smudge when you get caught in the rain. Improves the look of your lashes instantly. Rimmel Volume Flash Waterproof Mascara

Advantages: Cheap, comes out black
Disadvantages: Smudges, impossible to get off, needs a few coats

I've been using Boots No7 waterproof volume mascara for ages, but last week I thought I would try something new. I've been pleased with Rimmel make-up before but had never tried one of the mascaras. It was only £4.90 from Superdrug, which was a lot cheaper than the £9 I'd been paying for No7. I always go for volume mascaras to open up my eyes in the morning when I'm still half asleep! And always waterproof ones which is why I went for this particular one. Packaging It comes in a blue bottle, with a modern shape, with Rimmel Volume flash written across it in silver lettering.
