The Mascara made my lashes look really thick and full of volume, without making them look sort of clogged up, or stuck together. It also made my lashes look really long and very well defined! I don't even need to bother with eye liner when im wearing this Mascara as it makes me eyes look huge, and really stand out! It usually lasts all day as well! I can apply it first thing in the morning and it will still look good as just applied before I go to bed at night (obviolsey I wash it off before I go to bed though :-) . I did find though that without a decent makeup remover it can be a bit difficult to remove, however, the last time I bought it from Boots it came in a nice Gold box with a free Lancome eye make-up remover (which did it's job very well).
Unfortunatly, been a student I can't really afford to be spending £18 on Mascara anymore (even though I'm in love with this stuff) so I have to rely on family buying me it for christmas, or just use less expensive brands lol :-(
So yes, I would say it is a bit pricey but then again I'm somebody who wears make-up almost everyday, so a tube of mascara dosn't last me very long. If you only wear make-up for special occasions or going out, or you have 'normal' makeup for the day time and more expensive make-up for going out in then I'd deffinitly recommend Lancome Hypnose Mascara. It's absolutly brilliant!!
Finally, compared to other Mascara's available on the market.........I've spent £7 on a Mascara and found it to work reasonably well, especially for just wearing around the home and at uni etc, yet Ive spent £12 on a no7 Mascara and found it to be rubbish! It was practically like water. I think comparing what you can get for £12, and paying an extra £6 for something so so sooooooooo much better, the £18 price tage dosn't seem to sound so bad.
Overall: Pricey pricey mascara but makes your eyes look very nice and big, makes yours lashes long and full of volume. A deffinity recommend if you can afford it.
Advantages: Stays put, gives you lovely lashes, nice packaging and easily available. Disadvantages: Quite expensive, doesn't last as long as some.
I recieved this mascara as a christmas present, it was part of a gift set. I have used many different mascaras priced from £5 to £20 but I have never really found one that I liked enough to buy again.
That was until I tried this one! This is by far the best mascara I have ever used.! I like the packaging, and the wand handle made it easy and comfortable to apply the mascara.
It was easy to apply, just the right amount of product comes out on the ... ...two to three coats gives you a dramatic look which really opens your eyes.
The mascara itself stayed on all day, no smudging or flaking at all. I don't have the waterproof type, but I found that on occasions when I have been caught out in the rain this stuff stays put!
When it comes to taking it off, you don't have to rub and scrub, just your normal cleanser will do the job of removing it. Also it doesn't sting your eyes like some can when washing ...

I have loads of mascara's here at home, all varying from different prices. However this one was reccommended in a magazine. I went out and bought it because the reviews about it had all been so good. And they were all right! It added volume, thickness aswell as length, all perfectly combined. Having quite small eyes and short eyelashes, I envy anyone who can create a dramatic look with a stroke of mascara. However, fear not fellow dreamers, we CAN have those sultry smokey eyes, with Lancome Hypnose. It seriously was miracle make-up for me, it gave my eyes definition, made them appear larger, and gave my lashes blackness, volume and length. Absolutely love it and 100000% recommend you to buy! I'd seriously buy shares in this product because I know if it works for me, it works for anyone! Hope this helped! xxx ...

This mascara is one of the best mascaras I ahve used and I have used many. It really makes your lashes appear fuller and longer. It is a long lasting mascara and it doesn't clump your eyelashes up like some mascaras. The only downside is it dries out in a few weeks that is the only thing I don't like about it, I have to renew it every few weeks and it does get a bit expensive for that reason only I am looking for an alternative mascara that lasts longer. ...

This is the best mascara I have ever used. If like me, you have poor quality lashes, then this is definitely the one to buy.
As well as being poor quality my lashes tend to be brittle and come out when removing make up. One sweep of this has a noticeable lengthen and thicken effect and not like some products where you have to keep going over and over your lashes in order to see some visible difference. It comes off really easily with a make up remover ...

during the day which mean you'll use it up faster than normal.Instead, use the HYDRA ZEN Advanced de-stressing moisturising cream- Dry and very dry skins as it's much richer and will really help your dry or very dry skin.
I found that if I'm putting too much on the skin won't absorb all of it and I'm left with a layer that I have to take of with a Kleenex. But in the end it does do what it says on the package and that is the most important thing.
