Since the day Juicy Tubes were launched Ive lusted after them. Even me, whos been known to spend 35 quid on some face gel with little bits of gold leaf suspended in it, couldnt bring myself to fork out £12 quid for a 15ml tube.
Everybody raves about Juicy Tubes, saying theyre the best lipgloss around. Theyre one of the best selling lipglosses ever and this is reflected by the fact that its one of the few products that Lancome havent discontinued, they always discontinue products after a certain amount of time and its sooo frustrating when youve found something you love!
So anyway, browsing through eBay I came across a seller who had somehow managed to get hold of some Juicy Tubed stock and was selling them at around £8.50 for a single tube and £18 for a box of three. Of course, I went for three, I got three brand new unopened Juicy Tubes boxed in a pretty Lancome box in Framboise, Melon and Cerise - all the pinks - for £18! Bargain!
The tubes are translucent gel in a little white tube, with a screw top lid and an angled applicator so that the tube can be squeezed a little and applied directly to your lips. Each colour is scented, and if you like melon youll love the yummy canteloupe scent of the melon flavoured tube. The Cerise and Framboise colours have little particles of glitter sparsely mixed in for a very subtle shimmer.
The gloss itself is thick and rich and goes onto lips easily, it is sticky though. You can add more gloss depending on how shiny you want your lips to be. The gloss is heavy so it stays in place on your lips and you really must keep your lips from touching anything otherwise it just comes straight off.
I really have to admit that my cheap glosses have been better quality than this in terms of lasting and staying on but Juicy Tubes are great for the range of colours. Im not yet convinced that Id buy another juicy tube but the three Ive got should last me a while!
A little does seem to go a long way with these - as long as youre not partial to eating, kissing, drinking or anything else. If you lick your lips youd better stop and you find yourself pouting non stop with these on your lips.
I love lipgloss and I wear it every day, I wouldnt consider Juicy Tubes to be much ebtter than any other glosses you can buy, I personalylt hink you can get cheaper and better glosses from Bourjois, Revlon and Urban Decay (xxx Shine is excellent and is minty!) Even a H&M gloss I pinched off my sister lasts longer. Juicy Tubes will last about an hour if you dont do much in the way of talking!
The sticky feeling doesnt appeal to me and it leaves lips feeling tacky and abit dry.
I think everybody should try this gloss as its so raved about, but I dont personally think its for me as I know what characteristics I like in a lip gloss and everybody is different!!
Thanks for reading! Nat :o)

3 for £18 isn't bad at all - I thought they were about £12 each so have always been slightly put off, after all us students have got to be stingey! Lucie xxx

Oookkkaayyy then. That's a firm no for this one. I'm not a huge fan of lipgloss in the first place, but it sounds awful and I think I read another review on this which said that this lipgloss burst in someones bag! Not customer satisfaction is it? A great review Nat! Leila :)
