Advantages: reputable brand, looks good, smells great, the Conditioner really works! Disadvantages: beautifying skin conditioner does not control oil, and the cleanser stings!
I was one of the first people in the world to try out this range of skincare (really!) and have had the chance to test it over a relatively long period of time. LancomeLCM was launched as a range consisting 6 products here in Singapore in October 2002 and then subsequently in the rest of Asia. The reason why I said I was one of the first was because I made a beeline for the distribution counter for a free "discovery kit" (containing 50ml Foaming Cleansing Gel and 50ml BeautifyingSkinConditioner)in the morning of the first day of its launch...I even skipped a morning of lectures just for it! The reason I was so enthusiastic was that the LCM range seemed to be what I have been looking for. But is it all that it seems?

Advantages: Sweeps away anything the cleanser missed Disadvantages: Stings, and dries out the skin.
Clinique Clarifying Lotion for oilyskin is Step 2 of the "3 step skin care system" by clinique.
Clarifying lotion for oilyskin is in an opaque dusky pink bottle, with a pistachio green screw cap. It carries the distinct clinique logo in silver print.
All clarifying lotions by clinique, are toning exfoliators, which lift away dead surface skin cells to make the complexion smoother.
This is step 2, as step 1 gets rid of dirt, oil and debris from the skin, and step 2, the clarifying lotion gets rid of the more stubborn dead skin, and any junk which the cleanser couldn't get rid off.
The oilyskin formula has astringent properties, and it has a much stronger formula for getting rid of the extra oil on the skins surface.
