Lancome Maquicomplet

Lancome's foundations have long been among my favourites, but it's only recently I got round to trying out their concealer - and I'm very glad that I did. This is a 'complete coverage' product which conmes in a sponge wand type dispenser. At first I was not entirely convinced - the product looked too creamy to have any staying power or to be suitable for oily areas. I suffer from skin blemishes and under eye dark circles. Because of this, concealer has been an essential part of my make up kit and I have tried lots of different brands. This concealer is new to me and compares really favourably. Packaging - Same high standards as all other Lancôme merchandise, you just know you are buying a top range product. Black container with gold lettering and logo. Application - Easy to apply from a standard wand style applicator, which dips into the concealer liquid. Screw top open and close. I have terrible dark circles & I find this concealer works brilliantly! The trick is to apply it in layers to avoid caking, this works a treat for me. Granted this concealer is a tad on the expensive side at around £20 a tube, but I think it is worth the price. It is very light in texture & the lightest shade is brilliant for people with fair skin (I often find many concealers are too dark & have an orange tint). It is easy to blend and the coverage is good, but you must build it up in layers, I found that when I done it this way the coverage was better & it looked a lot more natural. It does ... more
