My mum recently bought me a bag full of Lancome goodies as a 'cheer me up' pressie and I’m so impressed with them, I just had to write all about the products inside. The products below are all suitable for combination skin.
GEL CLARTE This is a foaming cleansing gel that smells gorgeous; really fresh, clean scent. The smooth foam really cleans your face and makes your skin feel clean and smooth. You just need to lather a small amount in the palms of your hands and then apply to a wet face, then rinse off with warm water. I've been using it for just over a month and I definitely think it's helping to clear my skin. Although I didn’t buy this, you can get 125ml from around £12.50. (It comes is a blue tube with a grey lid).
TONIQUE CLARTE Having cleansed and washed with Gel Clarte, use Tonique Clarte ‘Fresh Exfoliating and Clarifying Lotion’ to tone your skin. This lotion is based on papaya and pineapple and needs to be applied to your face using cotton wool. This has the same lovely scent as Gel Clarte and leaves your skin feeling fresh and toned (feels quite taut after using). You can get 200ml for around £12.50 (blue bottle).
VINEFIT COOL GEL Fresh Oil-free Moisturiser with Natural Grape Water. I love this moisturiser, it smells divine and absorbs into your skin easily. As it’s oil free you can safely use it on oily skin and it doesn’t leave you feeling greasy! It’s a cool, pale green gel which can be applied easily. It is also an excellent base for make-up. It comes in a small green tube/bottle. It is quite expensive; £26 for 50ml but it is a lovely product. I only use a very small amount and it seems to go a long way.
AROMATONIC Energising body treatment fragrance. I just can’t stop applying this scent, I know I keep going on about wonderful smells, but this one tops them all! It apparently contains toning essential oils (lima, cardamom, green mate) which are meant to boost your mood and raise your spirit, combined with Vitamin C and E to protect your skin. Putting it on certainly made me feel refreshed and summery. My only gripe is that the scent doesn’t last for a very long time, hence I keep reapplying. 100ml is around £26, it comes in a bright green, clear bottle.
Also in my goody bag were Hydra Zen De-Stressing Moisturiser, Rouge Absolu Crème Lipstick, Amplicils Black Mascara, and Galateis Clarte: once I have used these products I will add them here.
Conclusion: I am really pleased with the above products, I have not used Lancome before, but I will be doing so in future despite the price tag!

Advantages: reputable brand, looks good, smells great, the Conditioner really works! Disadvantages: beautifying skin conditioner does not control oil, and the cleanser stings!
