Advantages Advantages Easy to use and dispense. Works really well as a toner. Removes makeup surprisingly well.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Full price is far too expensive in my opinion. Very slight irritation initially.

Lancôme Tonique Douceur – softening, hydrating toner I received this 50ml toner as a gift with purchase (I think the offer was at Debenhams and you had to buy two products from Lancôme to get a quite large bag of ‘free’ goodies). I have been using this as the Biotherm one I was using irritated my skin and I had finished my bottle of the Lush Eau Roma water which I adore. - About the product This product is a travel size which is 50ml or 1.69 fl oz. the actual liquid in the bottle is blue, like the Lancôme bi-facial make up remover. Advantages Advantages smells fairly pleasant, feels refreshing

Disadvantages Disadvantages not very good at removing last traces of make up, very expensive

I would not go out of my way to buy a toner however I received a trial size of this lancome tonique douceur when I purchased 2 products some time ago within a gift with purchase, and considering it was free it would be rude to not use it! Price and Availability This toner does not come cheap in my opinion at £21 for 200ml or £34 for 400ml. I do however think it is fab that it is available in more than just one ... more

    Advantages Advantages doesn't sting skin

Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive, not suitable for all skin.

Overview As part of a Lancome gift set, I received a trial version of the Tonique Douceur, as it was 50ml it was quite a generous trial size and I've been able to use it many times to see if I like it enough to buy the full version (which retails around £20). The Tonique Douceur is one of the skin toners in the Lancome range; I have previously reviewed Tonique Confort (for dry skin) and really love that so this had a lot to live up to. . The Toner This toner comes in a clear blue bottle and has a lid on the top whereby you can shake the toner out onto cotton wool. There is also another Lancome ... more
