Advantages: An adaptable fragrance that is suitable for all occasions that doesn't react with my sensitive skin Disadvantages: Expensive
Armand Petitjean, a French perfumer and cosmetician, launched Lancôme in 1935 with five fragrances. Although none of the original five are still sold by the company they continue to create new perfumes and cosmetics based around the ideal of the rose that so fascinated Petitjean, and is now the company's logo.

Although none of the original five are still sold by the company they continue to create new perfumes and cosmetics based around the ideal of the rose that so fascinated Petitjean, and is now the company's logo.
Lancôme appear to strongly associate particular models or actresses with the launch of perfumes. In 1990 Isabella Rosselini helped to launch Trésor, meaning 'treasure' - apparently attempting to merge the ideas of intelligence, action and audacity with this particular fragrance.
The perfume comes in a warm peach/amber box that contains an upside down pyramid shaped clear glass bottle with a black ring around its neck and a chunky square see-through lid. (Or slight variations on this design). Through the glass a slightly darker peachy-amber liquid can be seen. Across one corner of the bottle Trésor is printed in the same flowing script as appears on the outer packaging. Presumably attempting to evoke the idea of the perfume being a jewel or the 'treasure' of its name.
Lancôme make many claims about the perfume being closely associated with its logo saying 'it's a round bouquet in which the rose prevails', describing it as having 'flowery, fruity and powdery amber notes'.
My description would be slightly different. It is a warm, sweet fragrance that is especially suited to the winter months. Although despite this the freshness that remains in the scent stops it being too overpowering to prevent it being worn during the summer too. A light muskiness permeates giving depth to the smell and helping it linger throughout the day. I would however, agree with the manufacturers that there is a rounded flowery smell and that the richness of amber does apply. The range of layers displayed make it suitable for use throughout the day as well as during the evening.
After a full day of wear the scent does tend to fade, becoming almost unrecognisable from the wrists; with only the scent on the body remaining. This can be quickly refreshed with a squirt rubbed onto both wrists and possibly one to the neck, reviving the squirts applied to chest, neck and wrists first thing in the morning.
This year I decided to be adventurous and try Kenzo's "L'eau par Kenzo". Despite this having a lovely light aroma, returning to Trésor with the disappearance of warm weather was wonderful, and truly reminded me of why this has consistently been my favourite scent.
Trésor may be flowery but it is not a perfume for girly girls. There is something self assured and no nonsense about the smell. It is a perfume that is for women who are assured and confident enough about their femininity that they do not need to spend hours in front of a mirror to look and feel attractive.
Advantages: lovely fragrance, nice packaging, good quality, has lasted me ages Disadvantages: maybe the price?
...a present. ------------------------------------------------- WHAT LANCOME CLAIM ABOUT IT ------------------------------------------------ According to Lancome.... "Love is a treasure. The Eau de Parfum unveils the floral, fruity, powdery and amber notes of TRÉSOR. Its bottle, with its luxurious design, nestles in the hand, like a precious treasure. Its luminous fragrance gives a refined and radiant aura to the woman who wears it. A fragrance of emotion ... ...~*~*THE PRICE*~*~ On the actual lancome website, this perfume is £31.50 for 30 ml but it is £21 on cheapsmells.com, which is the website I'll buy it from when mine runs out. I have seen this available at Lancome counters in large stores like Boots and Debenhams. Sometimes after Christmas, the sets with the parfum, the body spray and the body lotion together sell for the price the perfume on its own would sell for, so keep a lookout for these kind ...

Advantages: Not overpowering like some perfumes Disadvantages: It can be hard to find sometimes
My Boyfriend bought me a bottle of this a couple of Christmas’s ago, it was actually in a gift set, which also included a body cream which was gorgeous and smelt exactly the same as the perfume itself.
Since then I have had about three bottles of the perfume itself, I like this perfume as it is not a strong and overpowering perfume, it is just nice and subtle. I have never been a lover of strong perfumes, so this was ideal for me.
Tresor ... ...and is suitable for either a nice romantic night in with you boyfriend, as well as everyday use, as it really is a sweet smelling fragrance and I also think it is really suitable for any age group. The bottle design itself is quite pretty and looks nice sitting on your dressing table.
I believe Tresor, was originally out in the 1950’s when it was created by a lady called Sophie Grosjman and was brought back out in the 1990’s due to high ...

Advantages: Smell Really Clean and Fresh and lingers for ages. Disadvantages: None
...had to be Tresor. Lancome who make this wonderful perfume, even know how to make their products look fantastic, and they make ideal presents for almost any occasion.
Tresor comes in different versions and sizes, which vary from eau de toilette to the pure perfume and there are others in between, i.e eau de parfum and a sheer version. I have not tried the sheer version, but I assume it is the same smell only probably very light
One of the versions ... ...of fragrance.
Tresor by Lancome as you can imagine is from France, and I think it probably is one of the nicest that has ever been produced. When you buy this perfume, you get real quality, and the fragrance as not been changed in any way since it first appeared; which is very reassurring; though I do not want to tempt fate, lol! If you like a really fresh smelling feeling that seems to linger on and on then this is the perfume for you.
If you ...

****Lancôme: Trésor **** The lancome counter in boots currently has 2 offers on-buy 3 products and get £10 back in boots and get a free gift when you buy any 2 products. I am a really bigperfume fan so i ended up buying three and this is one of the ones i got. **About Lancome** As i said in a previous review Lancome are a high quality brand that sell a range of products including perfume, makeup and hair care. They have been in business over 70 years!!!! ... ...there isn't anything else in this range(scent wise) but you can get body lotions, body powder, body crème and bath/shower wash. **Packaging/bottle style** The box is a nice pink/orange colour. I really like the shape of the bottle for this, it is quite unusual and pretty to look at. If i get through the perfume i will keep the bottle!!! The bottle is like an upside down pyramid with a black neck and the lid is a chunky square. The name of the perfume ...

Advantages: Long lasting, not too heavy Disadvantages: Not available in all stores
I bought a bottle of this perfume whilst on holiday in Germany. I had run out of perfume before going away and decided to shop whilst on holiday. I spent some time in the shop testing various bottles but was immediately taken with the scent of Tresor.
It has a lovely, sweet floral fragrance which is not too heavy. I am not keen on very light floral perfumes but Tresor certainly struck the right note with me. It is suitable for both day and evening ... ...small sprays will last for the day and a quick refresh for evening if required.
I think it was the packaging that attracted me first. The bottle is a very attractive design and I like the colour of it too. I am certainly a convert and will continue to buy.
The price is also very reasonable. It has the appeal of a more expensive fragrance but is priced about £30.00. However on a minor downside it is not always available in the high street stores ...
