I have been getting more and more stressed out and tired recently. I look like a hag with bags under my eyes bigger than Asda’s. For some strange reason (especially as I am quite poor) I decided I had to splash out on something really expensive for under my eyes. I have dark circles and puffiness, which would disgrace someone twice my age, therefore only something very luxurious would do. I paid ... ...aimlessly around the posh store looking very out of place. Most of the snooty orange faced counter tarts ignored me, presuming me to be poor (correct) but a lovely lady at the Lancôme counter asked if I needed any assistance, for this reason alone I decided to buy something from her counter.

I paid a visit to my local House of Fraser and wandered aimlessly around the posh store looking very out of place. Most of the snooty orange faced counter tarts ignored me, presuming me to be poor (correct) but a lovely lady at the Lancôme counter asked if I needed any assistance, for this reason alone I decided to buy something from her counter.
After much deliberation I decided on the shockingly expensive Vitabolic Yeux (£22.00), I was reassured that it would drastically reduce dark circles and puffiness, I left the store with a definite bounce in my walk anxious to get home to try this new wonder product.
The science **********
I eagerly unwrapped my new product and was shocked at how very small it was, it says on the package to use it sparingly, there was no doubt in my mind that I would be. Then to reading all the instructions, (I have to do this in case of any reoccurrence of my past beauty disasters). The ingredients all sounded promising, although ill be damned If I know what any of them are, maybe you will, It contains Active vitamin C, Ginseng, and Gingko, they are protected and carried by GlycovectorsTM. The first three I can just about figure out. The GlycovectorsTM are something completely unknown to me, but apparently they are protect and carry the other ingredients to stimulate microcirculation and to revitalise eye contours. Vitabolic also contains something called LumispheresTM which reflect light to brighten up the expression and totally blur all signs of fatigue instantly.
I was very pleased to read that the product has been opthamologically tested and is therefore suitable for contact lens wearer, however I had no intention of squirting the stuff into my eyes, so I continued to apply carefully to my eyes. They recommend that you apply the cream to upper and lower lids with a sweeping action towards the bridge of your nose and towards the area where you may get crows feet. I did this and waited for the spectacular results.
The results **********
Well nothing fabulous instantly happened (which I was devastated about) but after a couple of days use I definitely noticed a difference, my eyes were less puffy, the circles were reduced (but not diminished) and the skin felt much smoother. I was happy with the results but might try something cheaper next time, as it is quite expensive and the results could probably be achieved with a cheaper brand.
Advantages: Great smell, feels lovely on skin, immediate results. Disadvantages: Due to ingredients being 'fresh', has to be used in a restricted amount of time.
This new product from Lancome is a real must-have.
I was fortunate to get a tester size of this new product and will definitely be buying the full size product from now on.
Use it morning or evening to improve your skins texture and tone. It stimulates the skins microcirculation to give you a healthy 'glow'.
It contains three active ingredients; active vitamin C, stimulating ginseng and toning ginkgo. The product is available in tow types; oil-free ... ...- normal and oil-free.
I have tried both and found the oil-free one to be the best for my skin type (combination skin). The normal product was too greasy for me and my make up kept sliding off!
It's very eaasy to apply, just massage it onto your face using out-and-up movements and then lightly pinch your skin in upward spiral moevements until it is completely absorbed.
Your skin will look and feel wonderful!
