    There don't seem to be many good reviews about Land of leather floating around here, so to balance things out a tiny bit, here's my experience of buying my sofa. Just after Christmas we had already decided we were going to treat ourselves with a bit of money left over from our mortgage to buy a nice new suite for the lounge. As all the sales are happening we deliberately waited until after Christmas to do this.     As some of you may know i have recently moved house and i have purchased my leather suite from the land of leather, i just had to write a review on the level of service i recieved and the quality of the suite itself. So it was the beginning of April and some of you may recall an advertisement being on television for the land of leather a range of special deals for one day only.     When you buy a sofa, suite or any large item of furniture it takes not only your hard earned cash but time and heartache finding what you want... and sometimes near divorce if you go looking together with your other half.. or worse with the kids. We decided to look for a suite last year and found one in Land of Leather in the 'Pre xmas sale'. as if.. since then I'v been told there is no such thing, they just mark the items higher hoping people will buy them during the period before, and then drop the price knowing that more people look for these items during certain times of the year ... more

    Right where do I start, I only wish I checked this forum before I got sucked in to the Land Of Leather advertising campaign. Anyway here goes, I went to Land Of Leather on Boxing Day - they were extremely busy (seems a lot of other people got sucked in by Land of Leather’s ‘great offers’ on the TV). Eventually me and the missus finally decided on a suite and ordered two 3 seaters and two footstools, paid a deposit of £100.00 leaving a balance of £1700.00 and was told I would receive delivery in 14 weeks. In September 2001 I purchased my first property, all excited at the prospect of picking my own furniture and decorating my own place I decided to pop along to Land of Leather to purchase....... you've guessed it a leather suite. ***THE SEARCH*** Upon arrival everything looked lovely, suites well laid out, visible pricing, large selection and a great smell of new leather.
