Promise everything, provide very little
Advantages: A clear phone Line Disadvantages: You dont get the services you are promised, customer services are rubbish
Nearly a year ago we moved into our new home and at the time the only telephone and internet provider was Sky, so we signed up with them for one year, we took all three services that they were providing so as well as the phone and internet they also provided us with their television package. For the television we paid £26, for our phone line we paid £11 and after the first three months we paid £6.50 for our internet. and the bills were on a monthly ... ...the tv channels in the bad weather but everything else was fine, the internet was great and we very rarely had any connection problems. The only small problem was that we were paying £46 per month before our telephone calls.
I often said that I would like to try another provider but apart from anything else we were tied into a year's contract with Sky so I didn't bother looking for another provider, anyway we had reached nearly twelve months with ...

They tell lies !
Advantages: No advantages at all Disadvantages: time consuming, frustrating, infurating - get no where fast ! ! ! apauling service
...not be taken in by BT - it is a confidence trick; and their help desk has NOT improved at all - you will still get into a loop of blithering nitwits telling you nothing......................... Basts. I had thought I was beyond being taken in by this bunch. Obviously not..... Now we are going to Which? for help. ...

For a peaceful life...Don't even bother!
Advantages: Given that my phone line still hasn't been fixed after 2 months... I cant think of a thing! Disadvantages: Bad Customer Service. Incompetent technicians (they sacked one) and they don't always turn up.
Virgin Media provide the WORST customer service I've ever experienced!!!
My phone stopped working on the 2nd of July when they came round to fix our cable TV. It is now the 17th September and after several promises that someone will come round to reconnect our phone, nothing has been done! Each time they don't turn up it takes another 2 weeks till the next available appointment. When someone does turn up... well funny enough they give me a new appointment ...

PIPEX customer service mess
Advantages: none Disadvantages: at the end they wiil rob you
i have been using Pipex for about 18 months.My experince from the start was bad problems with download speed.After 18 months they offer to me service change from 20.99 to 14.99 i went on it , but instead to pay less they start charge me 26£ anyone from customer support could not explain to me why and here i lost another moneys to call them 0871 number every time they direct to other department i total i spend another 20£ for calls without any results ...

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
Advantages: prices slightly cheaper than others Disadvantages: Customer service
...stopped being a customer of Telecom Plus last year, due to their appaling customer service.
When I was a customer with them my direct debit was constantly cancelled by them but they were informing me it was my fault. This went on the whole time I was a customer with them.
In the end I cancelled my account with them and returned a piece of equipment I had. I sent the equipment and received proof of posting. After nearly 4 months I had a letter from ... ...me I had to have recorded delivery.
I was so annoyed I contacted the ombudsmen and handed them all the relevant paperwork, within 10 days I had a letter form Telecom Plus apologising for their error, and " writing off the debt".
If you are thinking about becoming customers BEWARE. ...
