I have recently joined talktalk on their essentials plan at £6.49per month plus £11.25 line rental. Great, I thought. Now I find on their talktalk members forum that they are increasing their line rental to £11.99 per month and the essentials to £6.99 per month from 1st Jan 09. Yet I see on their website they are still enticing people to join them on the essentials plan for £6.49 plus £11.25 line rental without mentioning the imminent price rise. ...

They tell lies !

Advantages: No advantages at all
Disadvantages: time consuming, frustrating, infurating - get no where fast ! ! ! apauling service

...not be taken in by BT - it is a confidence trick; and their help desk has NOT improved at all - you will still get into a loop of blithering nitwits telling you nothing......................... Basts. I had thought I was beyond being taken in by this bunch. Obviously not..... Now we are going to Which? for help. ...

Review of BT

For a peaceful life...Don't even bother!

Advantages: Given that my phone line still hasn't been fixed after 2 months... I cant think of a thing!
Disadvantages: Bad Customer Service. Incompetent technicians (they sacked one) and they don't always turn up.

Virgin Media provide the WORST customer service I've ever experienced!!! My phone stopped working on the 2nd of July when they came round to fix our cable TV. It is now the 17th September and after several promises that someone will come round to reconnect our phone, nothing has been done! Each time they don't turn up it takes another 2 weeks till the next available appointment. When someone does turn up... well funny enough they give me a new appointment ...

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Advantages: prices slightly cheaper than others
Disadvantages: Customer service

Review of Telecom Plus

Teleport TV is a great addition

Advantages: Teleport TV and Inexpensive package for TV, phone and internet plus unlimited weekend and evening calls.
Disadvantages: Internet can be very slow at times
