Advantages Good fragrance for those that enjoy sweet perfumes

Disadvantages Not great, just average.

Review summary
Jean Lanvin is a fragrance with a sweet summery smell, it has average staying power and is packaged in a square simple bottle with a pink ribbon tied round it.
This perfume i got as a free present, but i believe the retail price is around 35 pound for a 50ml bottle.

Jeanne Lanvin by Lanvin is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Jeanne Lanvin was launched in 2008 so it has been on the market for a while now.
According to Lanvin: Top notes are blackberry, citruses and pear; middle notes are peony, freesia and raspberry; base notes are sandalwood, amber and musk.

I must honestly say I do not smell the fresh fruity notes at all... to me is smells very sweet and musky. A warm summer fruit melange, i would prefer a more fresh notes.
The staying power is okay, what you would expect from a perfume in this price range.

The design of the bottle to me is nothing special, it's a simple square bottle with a silver cap and an inscription. The color ( soft pink ) is fitting for the smell. Tied around the bottle is a pink lace ribbon, in my opinion that's a bit cheap looking. It does not give me the sense of luxury that some other perfumes do.

THe smell is alright, not my favourite, but it does not stink. I think it would be best suited for "girly"women, who like sweet fragrances.
