...I have written about the Trust Mini USB Light NB-1150p, only this model is even worse from the construction point. The whole thing is too heavy to be held only in the USB port and the cable doesn't remain in a shape you put it into, so it gradually bends down onto your laptop, threatening to wiggle the USB port out. The first of my USB lights, which made me realize those things probably aren't supposed to do the job I had expected them to. It's small, cheap, looks good and cute, but I found it useless. The cable is way too short and the clip cannot be attached to the laptop's lid side without risking the screen getting scratched, so the only stabile and safe position is on the top of the lid. I always got the light's reflection on the screen which bothered me, ...
...and at the same time it wasn't strong enough to illuminate the keyboard satisfactorily. I didn't think it should be like a 4OWatt bulb, but this just wasn't enough. The beam which does reach the keyboard is a size of a Pringles crips, the rest sinks in darkness.
