Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5535 - Celeron M 530 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by

Advantages: good sized screen. small and compact.
Disadvantages: small memory, slow
i brought this product as a cheap laptop to do my work on for college. i found that it worked quite slow considoring the specs given. i also found that the battery dies quite quickly without the adaptor so unless you are anywhere with a power supply you might as well not bother taking it with you. however i was impressed with the look and the feel of it. and for what i want to use it for it seems to be satisfactory.
i would however not recommend ...

Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5505
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5505 by
m1keyb
Advantages: Quick laptop and not bulky for a 15.4" laptop 2Ghz
Disadvantages: battery life rated at 3 hours. Graphics not for high end use
An excellent laptop, a good balance between memory and CPU speed for most users. Graphics adequate for most things, though not for high end games. 3.4 Vista Index due to graphics, however, all over ratings are around 4.5 -5.5.
Highly recommended for general and business use. I use mine for web development and have had no problems at all. I often have many CPU intensive applications open at once and the performance has never waivered. I've just switched ... ...the keyboard, however, its a standard laptop one so no problems there. The USB ports are on the side which I find useful. Display screen is excellent and doesn't suffer from glare.
At the time of writing this was the best laptop for the money for general use on the market. ...

great laptop
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3525 Edition - Core Duo T2350 1.86 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
punker123
Advantages: speed
Disadvantages: none
...form the amilo range by fujitsu siemens brand.
this amilo pro edition is cheap and portable and is possible the best looking laptop from the amilo range.
this amilo has a 15.4\" TFT active matrix screen making the image resolution great for watching movies, playing games, viewing pictures and even just websurfing.
its weight drops just below the 3kg mark which seems to be the averge for laptops these days.
what makes this piece of equiptment ... ...can even be upgraded to 4gb for demanding users and its Intel Core Duo T2350 processor is one of the best on the markets today.
this laptop has a great 160gb of storage which will proably be enough for anyones needs however if its not you could easily connect a external hard drive to any one of its 4 high speed usb ports. or its 3 in one card reader.
its 4 hours of battery life is great an is proably one of the best times you can get out of a laptop ...

A cheap laptop for office&internet
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5515 - Pentium Dual Core T2130 1.86 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
hynix
Advantages: price,price,price
Disadvantages: LCD, lack of scroll, weak GPU performance
I bought this laptop one month ago as I needed one for university. I have chosen this one as it was the cheapest decent laptop. I bought for something around 280pounds from an on-line shop in Romania. In the package there was the laptop, AC adapter, network cable, a CD with drivers and one with Linux Knoppix. The first impression was that I bought it at a fair price. The plastic looks cheap but the keyboard is fine. First day I used it only connected ... ...with me at work. When running on battery the LCD is awful because it looks so much darker and you can barely recognize it. That's the first negative point. The second one is that you don't have a scroll and as I am surfing a lot on the internet it is really crap. If you think of playing games I would not recommend it as it has the weakest graphic adapter possible at the moment. It will have the performance of a geforce 2 or even worse.
Overall, ...
