I've recently been able to test this laptop as my stepdad has received one through his work. ...the keyboard, it feels great to type on and there is no "give" like my own current laptop ( an Acer Ferrari ). The touchpad feels ok but I've never been a big fan of these, so I think I'd stick to my trusty mouse. One thing I was really impressed with is the screen. The Dell Inspiron 600m is an amazing laptop, even for just the beginner laptop-user. I've used alot of laptops in my time and this laptop actually stays with me, as it is a good laptop, and can take a beating at any time, if you're worried about it. i brought this product as a cheap laptop to do my work on for college. i found that it worked quite slow considoring the specs given. i also found that the battery dies quite quickly without the adaptor so unless you are anywhere with a power supply you might as well not bother taking it with you. however i was impressed with the look and the feel of it. and for what i want to use it for it seems to be satisfactory. i would however not recommend ...
