Brains AND beauty - the 6920 has it all
Review of Acer Aspire 6920G-814G32Bn - Core 2 Duo T8100 2.1 GHz - 16" TFT by technosplat

Advantages: Speed, reliability, stunning good looks
Disadvantages: Quite heavy, will make everything else seem a bit uglier

...out of the house. The Acer 6920 changes all that. We needed a laptop for our photographic business, so it had to be fast, powerful and reliable. The Intel Core2 Duo produces a staggering amount of clock speed, around 5 GhZ if you add it up in real terms. Coupled with 4Gb RAM (good quality stuff too), an impressive DEDICATED graphics card and beautiful glass-fronted display, the 6920 meets all the geeky criteria and some! However, the specs (as ...
...No. That, ladies and gentlemen, is it's looks. It - is - stunning. No other way to describe such a beautifully created machine. I'm convinced no supermodels would have one though - if they were sitting next to it, everyone would be gawping at the laptop instead... Glossy plastic with lights behind, touch-pad controls, a fingerprint scanner - enough gadgets to put James Bond out of business. The components are of very high quality and we've not ... Read review

Acer Travel Mate 6592 Mate by name and nature
Review of Acer TravelMate 6592-101G16N - Core 2 Duo T7100 - 15.4" TFT by andy17898

Advantages: Good for office work, good battery life
Disadvantages: not so great for media

I had the model down from this one, so i cant review it specifically, but this model was purely an upgrade from the predeccessor, and my girlfriend sells this at her work, a well known PC superstore, there is a big interest apparently, and she reckons its brilliant, good value for money, and far superior to the one before. Plus point is a great battery life, and good for office type work such as word documents, powerpoint presentations, and excel ... Read review

One book worth a read.
Review of Apple iBook G4 - PPC G4 1 GHz - 14.1" TFT by Ideate

Advantages: Functionality, Speed, Look
Disadvantages: Minimal

Having not owned an Apple product before, i took a leap of faith into the unknown when i decided to buy this version, now i've had it for over 2years and i am still impressed. Even now it doesn't seem outdated with its slim 14" screen, sleek apple touch keyboard, and white gloss finish. It comes as standard with a 'slot' style loading drive which saves time and potential breakages. The laptop comes with quite a few trick features including colour ...
...hard drive - incase you drop it! The only niggles on this model are the USB port being on the left side which can make apple mice a reach for right handed people and its clunky 'plastic' style click on the track buttons. For the money prepare to be impressed! ... Read review

DELL XPS M1530 LAPTOP.
Review of Dell XPS M1530 by Jesse6

Advantages: Dell, video card.
Disadvantages: none.

Dell XPS M1530 is a light weight and very good looking laptop. This laptop is great for hard core gaming at high levels and by saying gaming means that its also good for high or heavy softwares which don't work on any normal computer. Its weight is approximatily around 5.6 lbs. Video editing can be done on this laptop with great ease and comfort coz it is one of the main specification of the laptop. While it is also good for multimedia and burning ...
