Great piece of technology, some amazing features
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz - 13.3" TFT by suparstar123

Advantages: Great looks and easy to use, yet powerful, operating system
Disadvantages: maybe a bit pricey, but definitely worth it...

...the order just like any apple produce when you buy it from http://apple.com, and some of the upgrades are quite impressive such as up to 250gb of storage space and a stunning mini DVI output so you can easily connect a second display. Overall it's a great piece of work, partly to do with it's features and partly to do with the amazing Apple Macintosh OS X 10.5 Operating system that beats Windows Vista hands down in many, if not all, respects. Os ...

Apple MacBook - The User's Review
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by Coops2404

Advantages: No viruses, Fast, Expandable RAM, Easy to use, Stylish and rigid
Disadvantages: Overheating, Interface farmiliarisation, Compatability issues

After using Windows-based machines for many years and finally growing sick of viruses and constant manual updates, I decided to purchase a Mac. After all of the good reviews that Mac's had received I decided that it was finally time that I switched. And what a brilliant decision that really was... Pro's: - No more viruses! - Extremely fast, even with just 1GB RAM - Expandable up to 2GB RAM - Very easy to use and user-friendly interface - Hardly ...
...easy OS Updates Con's: - Prone to overheating* - Difficulty at first for previous Windows users** - Compatibility issues*** *I realised this when I first used my MacBook on my lap. After about 2 hours of constant use, the underside of the MacBook was so hot, it was virtually unbearable to naked skin **It takes a couple of weeks to fully farmiliarise with the Mac's interface ***Some less known programs and many games are not compatible on a ... Macbook?
Review of Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by Cooperc01

Advantages: Fast, small, lightweight
Disadvantages: memory!

The other thing you'll notice is its keyboard. The keys are low into the base, and they have space between them, giving the impression that the keyboard is composed of many individual keys instead of one cohesive unit. We like that crumbs can't fall in between the keys, but we wish the keyboard was backlit like the MacBook Pro's. The new keyboard feels fine for touch typing, but we suspect it will be a very personal preference for those used to MacBook ... Read review

HP DV6599 Special Edition - Good All Rounder
Review of HP Pavilion Media Center dv6599ea Special Edition Entertainment - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by marcus997

Advantages: Features, size and design
Disadvantages: Not good enough for gaming

...me. As a fan of HP products, I chose from the DV6500 range available at the time. This laptop had every spec I required for both using as a station for university assignments, as well as home use for music, film and gaming. Firstly, the design is eye-catching. I was bored of looking at the generic black or grey and thought the white anti-scratch surface was ideal. The laptop is also quite light and the absense of a locking clip meant there was less ...
...more than my money's worth! HP also frequently offer discounts so it's always worth checking to see what deals are to be had. As well as the remote control that is stored away when not in use, another of my favourite features is the fingerprint reader. When you use the internet on a frequent basis, remembering usernames and passwords can be frustrating. For anyone who hops from website to website, I'd highly recommend this feature. Thankfully I ...
