I needed a Laptop that could give me the experince of a Tabletop. And this Computer gave it all and more. The screen is exelent, you can have 2 hard drives installed, in Raid 0 or as 2 disks. The keyboard, the feature with the touch pad is great. You can sit in the sofa and use the mouse directly on the keyboad while the laptop is on the table. ...I installed 2 Gb Ram in mine, because of Windows Vista. Dont like 1 GB. This is recommended.... The sound on this laptop is one of the best things I have ever heard on a laptop. You will not need external speakers to listen to music or watch a movie. The Dell Inspiron 600m is an amazing laptop, even for just the beginner laptop-user. I've used alot of laptops in my time and this laptop actually stays with me, as it is a good laptop, and can take a beating at any time, if you're worried about it. This laptop is significant but, the hinge on the monitor can, IF PULLED, be easily broken. But, it is an amazing laptop. i brought this product as a cheap laptop to do my work on for college. i found that it worked quite slow considoring the specs given. i also found that the battery dies quite quickly without the adaptor so unless you are anywhere with a power supply you might as well not bother taking it with you. however i was impressed with the look and the feel of it. and for what i want to use it for it seems to be satisfactory. i would however not recommend ...
