HP Pavilion HDX is made to be on the desk at home rather than have it on your legs because of its weight. It is really crowded by high-tech features. This device is great entertaiment centre for your home, but on teh other hand the display has not the full esolution of HD DVD - 1080p. ...The highest measure of closed HDX is 4826mm and it weights nice 16 pounds without adapter:) It is the heaviest laptop i have ever seen. So i think it is possible to transfer it between rooms or take it to your holiday with car but not to travel with it by public transport every day. The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop. Now I wouldn't call this a laptop, Id call this a machine. The sheer size of this beast makes it less portable for a laptop, but makes it great as a replacement desktop which will no doubt runs as fast and take up a lot less room.
