Long review for well built laptop
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 6710b - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by hauran

Advantages: very good ergonomy and good display
Disadvantages: loud cooler

...BASIC DESCRIPTION ------------------------------------------------- HP Compaq 6710b has got traditionall conservative design. Characteristic is black and dark grey color and square shape. Design is simple without specialities and extravagancies. Somebody can call this design as a square black boxes, but some people like this design much more than the futuristic new models of a competition. The chasi is exemplary well manufactured. Cover of display ...
...side (as is usual for HP i think) is not power connector, but there are LAN, VGA output, TV out as a S-Video. On the right side are from the rear analog modem, optics mechanic and two USB ports. These USB are better on the back side because when I connect something to the right i got a problem because on the right i usually have external mouse. Up from the USB ports is a card reader for SD, MMC, MS/Pro, XD and card inside always overreaches. On ... Read review

Review of HP Pavilion dv6799ea Special Edition Entertainment - Core 2 Duo T8100 2.1 GHz - 15.4" TFT by RalphMarch1

Advantages: Fast and great for watching films
Disadvantages: Battry life aint great for me anyway

This is a sexy smart looking laptop it's really easy to use. I found this laptop quick on loading programs and fast on the internet. The picture quality is not too bad either. The keys are nice to type on and the touch screen mouse is really responsive. I only use mine for the internet and sometimes for work spend a lot of time watching movies on it the DVD play is really fast and films run smooth no stopping to load all the time battery life could ...
...which is rubbish if you're not near a plug and your film is 3 hours long. I have to say I didn't wait and fully charge my battery up when I bought it and I have been told that why the battery life is poor. so wait till your battery is full charged before playing ... Read review

great laptop, but you might wish it was better
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 6910p - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 14.1" TFT by techno_man_37

Advantages: portability
Disadvantages: price, amount of ram and hard drive

One thing HP Compaq are good at is making great laptops for business people. This clearly shows in this laptop as it incorporates everything a business man would need in a laptop. This laptop clearly isn’t the best looking laptop iv ever seen, but its not ugly. Its all in one colour, black, which in this case doesn’t make it look so horrible due to its nice square shape structure. There are so many things wrong with this design, yet ...

When the price is Right
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 6510b - Core 2 Duo T7250 2 GHz - 14.1" TFT by 666Nemesis666

Advantages: Authentic businesslike looks, lots of inbuilt luxuries, relatively large screen, large memory.
Disadvantages: Over-priced, low graphics capabilities.

Compact and neatly organized (Dimensions: 33.1 cm x 24.3 cm x 3.4 cm) it is excellent for both home use and professional or business work. The keyboard is of standard size, although the 14" TFT screen also supports wide screen (with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800). The portability is superb, with a relatively low weight of 2.4 kg for a laptop with this screen size the exterior is of a classically 'businesslike' design and looks comfortable in ...
...GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm hard drive makes for an impressive amount of disk storage and allows for a large 1GB of RAM. The Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 / 1.8 GHz ( Dual-Core ) processor used also means that this laptop is of impressive speed and power - however, I do find the noise of the processor's cooling fan annoying at times. This laptop however is not built for gaming with only an Intel GMA X3100 graphics card, watching movies or online video ... Read review

A tablet PC at an easy to swallow pricepoint.
Review of HP Pavilion tx2130ea Entertainment - Turion 64 X2 TL-60 - 12.1" TFT by Englebert_Fliegenende

Advantages: Cheapest tablet PC by far, feature packed, HP quality & support.
Disadvantages: Keyboard delicate. HDD slow. Vista.

For the price, this is a very nice piece of kit overall. The touchscreen works with the stylus or a finger, which is unusual for a tablet. The unit feels reasonably robust, with the exception of the keyboard, which is not brilliant. Losing a key is way too easy, while reattaching the key when you find it is way too hard. The hinge & pivot mechanism of the screen feel nice & solid. The back of the screen (top of the closed unit) feels like it gives ...
...from Staples and shipped both with a 4 and a 6cell battery, the latter making the laptop rise at the rear - good in keyboard mode, a bit awkward in tablet mode. Nonetheless handy for being able to travel without the power brick. The multimedia features are good (both HP's Quickplay and MS Media Center), with a nice front end and an IR remote, which is a bit fiddly, but stows away nicely in the expresscard slot when not in use. The speakers are of ... Read review
