Review of Acer TravelMate 6292-302G16N - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 12.1" TFT by

Advantages: fast
Disadvantages: could look more stylish
...little older version of the acer travel mate 6292.
this travelmate, like the others is also designed for buisness people on the move.
although this is the smallest and sleekist laptop from the acer line, this laptop still isnt as sleek and cool as some of the other new laptops out their on the market today.
the TravelMate 6292 weighs less than 2kg with its 6-cell battery in place which i think you will agree is a really nice leight weight laptop, ... ...this is really portable.
acer has made a real effort to change the design and robustness of this product.
acer claim to have, provided better ergonomics, improved build quality and enhance overall durability in their new product and they have even added an magnesium alloy into the TravelMate chassis for enhanced robustness.
even the lid over the screen is protected alot more, and you can tell by just holding this laptop its alot more secure then ...

cheap laptop
Review of Acer Extensa 4220-101G08Mi - C 540 1.86 GHz - 14.1" TFT by

Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: could be quicker
...This laptop is the Acer Extensa 4220-101G08Mi. The extensa is a new model from acer and although they have been working on it for over a year now it wasn’t until a few months ago that these laptops went on sale. I still don’t think that it’s a brand of acer laptops that most people will be familiar with yet however I think it will grow and they will get better and more and more people will buy them just like what happened with the ... ...from the Acer aspire however the aspires were made mainly to keep at home and for a laptop to use around the house. These new extensa models though are not only made or that but also incorporate the design specification of the older travel mate models so that they are also quite portable so really it gives you the opportunity to use your laptop for whatever you want to use it for.
This one looks a bit different from previous acer laptops and also ...

Big on performance without the big price tag
Review of Acer TravelMate 3273WXMi - Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz - 14.1" TFT by
debbiekean
Advantages: Great performer
Disadvantages: battery life not so good
...this is now the second Acer laptop I have purchased within six months. I will list the main features of my laptop and give a brief explanation of their benefits.

PRICE:

The average price for these is around £570-£600, I was fortunate to get mine off the infamous "Flea-Bay" for £510. It is worth shopping around for any type of electrical products as prices do tend to vary tremendously. Another thing to watch out for is the ... ...slight drawback for over-clockers with Acer in that access to the full BIOS settings is limited. Personally I fail to see the point in over-clocking, my view is if you want a faster system, buy a higher spec. PC.

Installed is 2Gb of DDR-II RAM @ 667Mhz.
Once again the memory is very impressive and copes very well with any demands placed upon it. Graphics applications in particular run very ...

~*~* Your trusty travel companion *~*~
Review of Acer TravelMate 3043WTMi - Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz - 12.1" TFT by
leofluffy69
Advantages: stylish, easy to use, fairly light for travel, built-in webcam
Disadvantages: poor battery life, quite expensive in comparison to similar laptops
...quite fortunate to get the Acer Travelmate 3043wtmi laptop secondhand for £520 not bad for a laptop that would usually cost between £800 and £600 new. I am not very technical with my language so this review will not be in 'technical speak' and is quite simple. I do not use the laptop for 'amazing' things. It is just a laptop for storing and transferring documents to and from home.
***ACER***
Acer was founded in 1976 by Stan Shih and Caroline Yeh ... ...Acer in 1987. The headquarters is in Taiwan and was originally set up to provide electrical components. Acer is famous for providing sponsorship for the Formula 1 Ferrari team. They have a range of Ferrari laptops on sale and look rather sleek and sexy. I first heard about Acer whilst on my teaching practices because they provide many schools and colleges with Acer laptops at a good price.

Great value travel laptop
Review of Acer TravelMate 2483WXMi - Celeron M 430 1.73 GHz - 14.1" TFT by
shil1138
Advantages: price & weight
Disadvantages: Low ram - but you can upgrade.
I purchased this Acer Travelmate a few months ago and I’ve been very pleased with it J. The main selling point for me was the lightweight – 2.4kg at a very good price. It’s super sleek and slim and looks great. It’s not the most advanced model on the market – the may constraint for me is the 512 RAM which means that is can take a couple of seconds to load up software, but it’s more than adequate for word processing, email and web. The battery life ... ...fully charged and there are setting to reduce the screen brightness to conserved energy. The dvd writer is useful and the software the comes with it of above average and very easy to use. The screen size is ok – I soon got used to the windscreen; the only problem is that is can be difficult to read if you are not looking at it is just the right angle.
I definite recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cheap laptop for travelling. ...
