Sony Laptop
Review of Sony VAIO C2S/G - Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
14emma14
Advantages: It's weight, it's size, it's visual appeal and it's ease to use
Disadvantages: Not clear when it is on or off
...and to join their clubs, Sony did not do this which was good! The touchpad mouse is one of the best i've used as it doesn't get stuck and is big enough. I took it away with me and didn't find it too heavy to be carrying around in my luggage all day because it is a nice size and weight. Overall, very good! ...

Good machine but can easily be beaten
Review of Sony VAIO FJ3S - Pentium M 740 1.73 GHz - 14.1" TFT by
03bintls
Advantages: Nice size, good looks, adequate spec
Disadvantages: Screen, technology has moved on
...handy since I have a Sony digital camera, so transferring photos between the two is so simple and easy.
Other connectors include 3 USB ports, a firewire port, AV out, microphone in, headphone socket, ethernet and modem and monitor out. This laptop doesn't have a line out/in port for audio though, which is something I would like to change since it prevents you recording external audio sources onto the hard drive.
I have been getting around 3 hours ... ...the screen and switching off the wireless card helps to keep the time up but its not really a problem.
The internal stuff - its got 1GB of ram, which I think is fine. While there are laptops with more these days I believe most users will find this adequate. Its also got a 100GB hard drive. I have filled this many time over now, so have had to invest in an external hard drive. But I guess this is to be expected with a laptop.
Its also got a dvd/cd ...

White's The New X-Black.
Review of Sony VAIO TX5MN/W - Core Solo U1400 1.2 GHz - 11.1" TFT by
Khior
Advantages: Ultraportable, Stylish, Internal DVD±RW, Long Battery Life
Disadvantages: Few External Ports, Small Screen, Extortionate Price Tag
I have used several Sony VAIO TX5MN/W's in the workplace and I must say that I found them more than satisfactory. I like Sony products in general - especially the intuitive design and style of them and this product has both in buket-loads.
The X-Black widescreen display is tiny at a mere 11" which, while excellent in quality, makes it hard to work at for an extended period of time. In keeping with the miniscule theme, the keyboard is ultra-compact ... ...flaw I can find in Sony laptops and I detest it. I have only even seen one of these because of my job but I'm pretty sure that otherwise it would've flown right under my radar.
In conclusion, this laptop is much more than just a fashion accessory. It has the quality and size to be your favourite companion in the office (provided you have an external monitor) or on the road and be the envy of the meetings room. ...

Dell Inspiron 600m - Masterpiece
Review of Dell Inspiron 600m by
ZxPwn
Advantages: possibility of 2 batteries, long battery life, overall good life
Disadvantages: none!
The Dell Inspiron 600m is an amazing laptop, even for just the beginner laptop-user.
I've used alot of laptops in my time and this laptop actually stays with me, as it is a good laptop, and can take a beating at any time, if you're worried about it. This laptop is significant but, the hinge on the monitor can, IF PULLED, be easily broken. But, it is an amazing laptop. A amazing laptop is what everybody needs, this is a lot better than most laptops ...

Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5535 - Celeron M 530 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
lynz_2008
Advantages: good sized screen. small and compact.
Disadvantages: small memory, slow
i brought this product as a cheap laptop to do my work on for college. i found that it worked quite slow considoring the specs given. i also found that the battery dies quite quickly without the adaptor so unless you are anywhere with a power supply you might as well not bother taking it with you. however i was impressed with the look and the feel of it. and for what i want to use it for it seems to be satisfactory.
i would however not recommend ...
