Buy it, its great
Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 15.4" TFT by tknox100

Advantages: Stylish, quick
Disadvantages: If you are a windows user, it takes some getting used to.

...seminar. I really reccomend it. Apple tend to focus more on style but in this product they have really gone into the actual functionality of this product. It runs really fast and the best thing you can do with it, is run multiple operating systems on it. So if you fancied working on a windows ran computer for a while then you could do so with ease. You will not get bored. ... Read review

A lean machine
Review of Toshiba Portege R500-100 - Core 2 Duo U7600 1.2 GHz - 12.1" TFT by st.v1

Advantages: Weight, battery, screen
Disadvantages: FIngerprint software

...power), and the keyboard. Toshiba has packaged the machine well, with a handy set of utilities, such as HDD protection (although this can be annoying when you're on a bumpy train - even if it is doing its job), the ConfigFree software (with its quick connect to different networks, wireless and Bluetooth connectivity), and power saving options. Switching between monitors and Digital TVs (if they are fitted with a PC connection) shows that the graphics ...
...although the Realtek audio mixer is basic. The touchpad drove me to distraction until I found how to turn it off while I typed - it's software is too clever by half and leads to the cursor jumping around the screen as you type. The big thing you need to be aware of is, paradoxically, using the fingerprint reader software for anything than basic passwords. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO USE IT TO PROTECT FILES. If there's a glitch that stops the TrueSuite software ... Read review

Value? Hmmm
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S7110 Value - Core Duo T2500 2 GHz - 14.1" TFT by lhudson23

Advantages: Extremly long battery life.
Disadvantages: Not as light as a laptop can be. Very expensive.

The laptop itself is a very good one, and unless you need a laptop for anything really specific, such as 'hardcore' gaming, or for downloading films, music, tv programsthen it will suit all your needs. It has a goos sized hard-drive and R.A.M. I have found the battery time, like many laptops, has reduced by quite a lot over the time I have had it, now lasting little over an hour after being fully charged, and that is having had the laptop about a ...
...had lighter laptops and I have found on longer journeys or while carrying the laptop with me in a bag it is actually a fairly major problem compared to laptops such as the Apple laptops. The S7110 seems a little over-priced. I can't really see what more you are getting for your money than you would having brought another laptop. Overall - reasonable. ... Read review

Good one but can be improved
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 2510p by tommitra

Advantages: Weight
Disadvantages: Price

The memory capacity is good but would be better with 2 G B. The weight is OK my laptop weighs 1.5 kg so is far better. A company came out with flash drive memory. I think it is faster. The company also claimed the same. They said it was about 33 percent faster. It does makes a difference. I dont know if it is available in India. I would surely like to own one. There should be some means of payment by installment so that students with monetary problems ... Read review

fantastic laptop, for all tose travelers
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S7210 - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 14.1" TFT by techno_man_37

Advantages: portability
Disadvantages: hard drive space and ram, (for some).

Fujitsu is a company that operates under the well known Siemens brand. They are now making more laptops than ever and coming out with fantastic new models of laptops all the time. This model, the lifebook was designed and made for al those people, who for whatever needs, want a good looking laptop which is very portable to take around with them. This laptop takes in all these demands and incorporates them into its specification and fabulous build ...
...only meant for business like people, but also looks great too. This is something that the acer travel mates just never managed to get right as they always designed their laptops with one colour scheme and boring design all the time. This laptop however has a great look to it. It kind of looks quite cube like, which in this case is very stylish as its combination of silver and black outer case, with a white/grey keyboard makes it look very sleek ... Read review
