Dell Vostro 1000
Review of Dell Vostro 1000 by mufc4300

Advantages: Cheap in Price compared to other laptops
Disadvantages: Slightly bulky and heavy in weight

...their prices with the other Dell laptops out on market. I purchased the laptop at £339 with the same spec on the inspiron coming to a total of £529. The machine overall is excellent for the type of work I use it for, as it is very fast and quite simple to use with minimal functions. The downfall is that it is slightly bulky compared to all the other machines and can take up quite a bit of room as it is pretty thick aswell. I have had a few problems ... Read review

Review of Toshiba Satellite P200-155 - Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73 GHz - 17.1" TFT by ag112

Advantages: Big screen, good ram and hdd
Disadvantages: bit slow on loading up

I bought this laptop just over 6 months ago and it has served it's purpose very well it is running vista home premium operating system which i think is a great opereating system for a laptop as it has many online and wireless features. The laptop it's self has pretty good specifications good ram and processor for light gaming and gereral useage. It has very good graphics and hdd although i upgraded my hdd to 250gb and it works fine with it.It is capable ...
...good for me as i usually run music, msn, bebo and games at the same time. Using the laptop to its full potential is running it on the battery which means it does not heat up as much and concentrates its power on the processor. One final thing is that try to get it cheap as it is worth the price i payed for it rrp.£350+£120 for an upgrade on hdd. ... Swanky Samung
Review of Samsung R60 Plus Celeron M 540 1.86 GHz - 15.4" TFT by rhyrhy1

Advantages: Speed and Looks
Disadvantages: Price

I recently purchased the Samsung R60 laptop from laptops direct for £329.99 excluding postage and packaging. I chose this laptop because of the processor speed and the size of the screen. I think that this laptop meets the compromise between price and quality extremely well. Samsung are better known in the fields of mobile phones and televisions. My last phone was a Samsung D600 and I was very pleased with it because of its durability and features. ...
...badly and that is why Samsung included a screen wipe, they really did do some rigorous product testing. The laptop pad is really well designed and the different colour lights on the front are also quite stylish. The laptop is really easy to use, it has a finger pad for cursor movement but you can use a USB mouse if you prefer. I think that the keyboard is really nice because it makes the letters appear to be in 3D when they aren't. The laptop screen ... Read review

Advantages: A wide range of features and simple to use

...http://www.lightscribe.com/ for more details). The only problems I've had are that there are no Firewire ports, which is annoying, and the touch buttons, which include pause, next, previous etc, are not compatible with iTunes. Overall, it is a great laptop, and I would definitely consider buying from HP again. ... Read review

A Dream Machine
Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo - 17\" TFT by sharky05

Advantages: Power, Quality of build, display quality
Disadvantages: cost

...an extremely fast rendering machine. Apple has squeezed as much of the world-renowned Mac Pros into this 1" thick machine as possible. What I find amazing is the attention to detail. Instead of the ugly hooks that keep the screen locked when closed on all other manufacturers laptops, apple makes a simple magnetised system where the hooks only come out as the laptop is being shut. I decided to spend about £90 extra and get the hi resolution screen ...
...that the text would be too small to read, but to my delight everything is readable, and this is one of the sharpest lcd displays on the market. The screen on the hi-res laptop also has an LED backlight, which produces brighter whites and also saves on battery usage. Other gems include a backlit keyboard, a sudden motion sensor which stops the hard-drives if the laptop is dropped, and ambient light sensors which adjust the display and keyboard backlights ...
