Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 6720s by Dawn1177

Advantages: Ability to recover to initial factory settings, durable and easy to use
Disadvantages: It comes with windows vista

I bought a HP Compaq Buisness Notebook 6720 (GR647EA) from a HP partner two months ago. He gave me the Laptop without the recovery discs. I found it strange because the laptops I had used came with discs. I requested for them and he informed me that it has inbuilt back up and recovery. For two reasons - wrong configuration of keyboard and download of an update incompatible with microsoft office - I had to perform full system recovery twice. Each ...
...not miss a thing. This thrilled me because the last laptop (a different brand) I used, the full factory image/settings was not recovered when I had to format it. It came with a trial version of microsoft office 2007 (I did not need to buy MS office for a while), a sixty subscription of Norton Virus and windows vista which can be a nuisance. But I understand that one can request for a downgrade to windows XP professional. ... Read review

Fujitsu Siemens
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5535 - Celeron M 530 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by Latchu_2008

Advantages: Compact & Style
Disadvantages: Less Speed, No Varieties & Models

System provided only 1 GB and it occupies space quickly and result in hanging and slow in action. The style is not much compared other models. Aesthetic is also not in line with better model. The Brand Name is very good and technical parameters very nice. Battery run time may be given higher level. Rates are not competitive. DVD provision is very good and i have also collected from my friends also product life is satisfactory but they cannot installed ... Read review

Toshiba Satellite P200-155 Overcome on anothers
Review of Toshiba Satellite P200-155 - Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73 GHz - 17.1" TFT by sobkawy

Advantages: Great Sound and Performance, High Screen Resolution
Disadvantages: None

The Toshiba Satellite P200 -17C is the perfect laptop if you're looking for some gaming fun. Its 2D and 3D performance is impressive, while six USB ports are scattered around the machine. The speakers are excellent and Interacting with the P200 is a mixed bag because whilst the trackpad is great, the keyboard has a couple of flaws. The space bar feels as though it's about to pop off and the diminutive size of the 'Enter' button.Opting for screen ... Read review

HP 530 - Core Duo T2050 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT
Review of HP 530 - Core Duo T2050 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT by richooooo

Advantages: Cheap,Fast,Sleek
Disadvantages: Size,Ram,Lid Scratches Easily

...The main things th HP have done wrong is they have only put 512 DDR2 in to this laptop and i think that this is not enough for windows vista to run smoothly, would be ok for Windows Xp .After a few days i upgraded the memory of the laptop to 2gb ddr2 this is very easy and was cheap only £30. After i did this the laptop was perfect. The touch pad is made from the same plastic the case and i think it is very good. The Graphics are Intel GMA 950 with ...
...it also failed using the HP Backup Software,Worked perfect when tryiing to copy music disk. The Lid on my laptop has got 2 scratches after only 2 month of using. One more problem i have found with this laptop is that the power cable is in the wrong place always seems to be in the way. i would reccomend getting this laptop if you are on a tight budget and if you are not botherd about the size of the laptop(would reccomend Ram Upgrade). ...
