Value for Money Toshiba
Review of Toshiba Satellite A200 by sunweohn

Advantages: durability, reasonable price
Disadvantages: heat if used long hours and noisy fun inside

This notebook is my first notebook I bought it a year ago soon after it was launched in UK. I paid £499 for it. I don't think I should describe the product description in the review so I will only mention my experiences and opinions. In my opnion, the Satellite series is the reasonable priced notebook introduced by Toshiba. I use it daily and its durability is quite good. The keyboard keys are easy to handle and use. The notebooks come together with ...
...classic looks. When it is used for long hours (like 5 hours or more), it becomes hotter especially near the mouse pad area and the noise of the fun gets louder to reduce the heat inside. To summarise the pros and cons, it is value for money. Good Luck in your research of notebooks info. ... Read review

Cracking ultra-portable laptop for under a grand
Review of Samsung Q45 LXD T7100 - Core 2 Duo T7100 1.8 GHz - 12.1" TFT by sadoldbag

Advantages: Fast, great spec, looks good, light
Disadvantages: None so far (only had it a week though)

...It is the second Samsung I've had and I love the layout of the keyboard etc - so much better than Dell, which are a bit functional (though good value for money). It's quite small which makes it light and easy to port about, and the screen is big enough, though obviously if you want a bigger screen there are loads out there larger. I expect the smallish screen improves the battery life. The actutal viewing on the screen is good though - it is one ... Read review

Review of Sony VAIO SZ71WN/C - Core 2 Duo T9300 2.5 GHz - 13.3" TFT by piiindy

Advantages: Small, lightweight and packed with great gizmo's
Disadvantages: may be over budget

Sony Vaio's are well known for being the business types laptop, being expensive and packed with business type programmes and softwares, and especially hardware allowing people to comunicate and connect with the easiest of use. For example connecting to the internet or connecting a USB couldn't be easier on a laptop than it is on a Viao. But now with better graphics cards and a faster proccesor the Viao is more family freindly giving better movie ...
...this Viao is for around £1300 a good price for any laptop of this quality, and to be honest Sony have done well in this market and really with the support they offer and the quality of this product you really are in safe hands, and can't go too wrong. ... Read review

Review of Sony VAIO TZ21WN/B - Core 2 Duo U7500 1.06 GHz - 11.1" TFT by techno_man_37

Advantages: portable
Disadvantages: expensive

This sony VAIO TZ21MN/B is a new one not only from sony but also from there range of seriously ultra portable laptops. The features this has for a laptop of its size is great compared to any laptop and its also so portable its unbelievable it really is a technical persons dream. If I had to describe its looks in a few words I think id choose cool, sleek and elegant. It really is a thin and also thin looking laptop and its cool black shell colour ...
...on this laptop is reasonable, it has 1gb which runs the laptop pretty fast, also its intel core 2 duo T7700 which is one of the newest processors makes this laptop run so fast. Another thing to note is that this processor runs at speeds like 1.2 Ghz. There has recently been an increase in ultra portable laptops and even pc tablets too, and this is what this laptop can be used as seen as its that small. A big contender coming in the market recently ... Read review

Advantages: extremly portable
Disadvantages: possible the screen size

Sony VAIO TZ31MN/N This sony VAIO TZ31MN/N is a new one not only from sony but also from there range of seriously ultra portable laptops. ...something that I will be reviewing soon is the asus EEE pc. This however doesn’t run on windows so is a downside for me and many others and also doesn’t have anywhere near the memory and hard drive this laptop has so this definitely wins that. The only thing is though this is a lot dearer which is something ill mention a little later on. If I had to describe its looks in a few words I think id choose cool, sleek and elegant. It really ...
