Wow. We first came across this baby while looking for a laptop for a friend of mine, while in Hong Kong. There were a couple of notable changes: - there was a promotion, which upgraded the RAM to 3GB. - the promotion also threw in what it calls an HD-TV USB stick, which turns out to be a digital tv tuner. It is HD (High-Definition) - as long as you can output it (e.g. on an HD TV screen!) We were told that this was the only brand being sourced ...
...tested the machine prior to buying it of course, and we added a couple of extras - mainly MS Office 2007 and a bluetooth mouse (which we won't cover, as they were additional). The Dell Inspiron 600m is an amazing laptop, even for just the beginner laptop-user. I've used alot of laptops in my time and this laptop actually stays with me, as it is a good laptop, and can take a beating at any time, if you're worried about it. This laptop is significant but, the hinge on the monitor can, IF PULLED, be easily broken. But, it is an amazing laptop. i brought this product as a cheap laptop to do my work on for college. i found that it worked quite slow considoring the specs given. i also found that the battery dies quite quickly without the adaptor so unless you are anywhere with a power supply you might as well not bother taking it with you. however i was impressed with the look and the feel of it. and for what i want to use it for it seems to be satisfactory. i would however not recommend ...
