asus e pc
Review of ASUS Eee PC 4G - Celeron M 353 630 MHz - 7" TFT by shanewheeler1987

Advantages: small lighweight
Disadvantages: linux os

The Asus e PC is the perfect choice for students who want to use their computer at home, at school, at work or on the move. Smaller than a A5 pad and weighs less than 1kg! This is one the best laptops you can get designed for internet browsing on the move! I removed the original Linux operating system and installed Windows XP SP2. very usefull. handy for browsing the internet by just touching the screen! I had owned it for 2 months only. however ...
...because most kids that have grown up around Microsoft don't want to have to get used to another os and as most colleges use xp on their workstations people are going to find it hard to get used to linux so please asus make xp standard on the e pc. ... Read review

Really is as easy as it claims
Review of ASUS Eee PC 2G Surf - Celeron M 353 571 MHz - 7" by Hasselnott

Advantages: Size, useability
Disadvantages: Battery length

So, I was in PC world when I first saw this beauty, the tiniest laptop I've seen before and I immediately fell In love with it. I am going to review the points I think are most important. Firstly I will talk about it's size - as thats obvious what draws people to this tiny creature. It is so small and light, that taking it places - university for example is easy as it can even fit in a handbag. It about the size of a book. But with it's size come ...
...a problem for some - though I've just found that I've got used to it, and use it constantly - to write essays etc. The screen is also small, but again thats just something to get use to. The only reason why the small screen is an issue, is when watching tv/films on it. Though even this factor wouldn't have stopped me buying it. I frequently use iplayer from the bbc and have no problems watching tv shows. The thing I deem next important is the software. ... Read review

Review of Acer Aspire 8920G Gemstone Blue by GOLDENANGEL

Advantages: you can use it anywhere ,on the move ,in garden you name it
Disadvantages: not as light as some but by no means is it really heavy

I have had this laptop for a month now and its great Its got incredible detail and amazing clarity. fingerprint recognition log on by swiping finger slowly over sensor in palm rest this stops anyone else using your laptop with out your consent. It has a 2 hour battery life ( on the bottom of the screen it tells you how much time you have left.) 4 GB ram,320GB hard drive intel core duo 2 T5750 processor 6 in one card reader bluetooth wi fi ...
...,blue-ray watching movies on this 18.4 inch screen is amazing. this laptop has windows vista premium some don't like vista but i cant see any problem with it. this laptop is not as light as some but its not to bad for the size of the screen your getting i brought my laptop as i was fed up with fighting to get on computer both my kids now want the same laptop ... What are the downsides?
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Xi 2528 by Avasulthiris

Advantages: Amazing Notebook Computer
Disadvantages: Portability, Battery Life, Brilliant View Screen and its hinges

Great computer, very happy with it. The screen is just a bit hard to work with. It keeps on making a cracking sound and moves difficultly when ever you touch it. Worst is you cant oil it or anything because all of the hinges and whatever are sealed in for protection. The brilliant view screen is pretty awesome, it just reflects a lot and is impossible to work on with a window behind you. It also attracts a lot of dust. The battery life is also ...
...a desktop pc after a while so it not the end of the world. I would not recommend it to anyone needing mobility and long battery hours. It's a brilliant machine otherwise. Windows Vista hides its potential a bit. My advice - for windows lovers, downgrade to XP. For linux lovers, go mad :) If you do plan on keeping Vista, at least upgrade it with another 2 gb RAM! ... Dell Inspiron 1721
Review of Dell Inspiron 1721 by DiamondTip

Advantages: Large Screen
Disadvantages: Poor Quality

I bought a dell inspiron 1721 laptop about 10 months ago, when we received it would not work so i phoned the support line, it turned out that the 2 hard drives had not been connected in and they sent out these screws to connect them in place. since then the computer kept going to a blue screen and then safe mode, it then has crashed beyond repair and we lost everything on it. It was sent for repair and 2 new hard drives were fitted, within a week ...
...who claimed it was a software problem and i would have to pay £60 to have it sorted. After 2 hours of arguing with them they eventually agreed to have a look at it and it turned out they had to replace both lots of RAM and a complete new mother board. It's been returned and still has the same problems DON'T BUY, CRAP....... ... Read review
