The Q1 features a touch screen and seems to recognise all of my very scruffy hand writing. The 14.1in screen means it is quite big rather than one of those rubbishy 12 inch screens which are far too small! The screen isn't as bright as my older laptops, nevertheless you shouldn't really complain too much about that especially at the price the laptop is at.
