Advantages: light and easy to carry

I received my Acer laptop a few weeks ago; I expected it to be quite good as I have had an Acer Aspire tower for the last 6 months now. The laptop comes with Windows Vista basic pre installed on it, along with a trail version of Microsoft Office 2007 and 3 months trial version of Norton's Anti Virus. ...I would normally not recommend Acer laptops as I have used a few in the past and they often tend to pack up when used extensively unlike a Lenovo or a Sony, but this is one of those laptops that even Acer can use to prove their reliability, as originally bought on a recommendation from a friend and since then at least two other collegues have purchased the same machien and no faults ... Decent Laptop

Advantages: Decent spec
Disadvantages: Has a few downsides, battery etc.

This is the laptop that i currently own and am on right as we speak. i've had it since christmas time which is when i got it in the sale for around 400 pounds. In my opinion it is a good laptop but it has a few downsides. Firstly, the screen is a very glossy one whch means that yes, it does keep the sun off of it, but it also means that it gets scratched very easily.. ANother problem is the battery, it will last for only around 2 hours when it should ... Read review
