Disadvantages: Portability, Battery Life, Brilliant View Screen and its hinges

Great computer, very happy with it. The screen is just a bit hard to work with. It keeps on making a cracking sound and moves difficultly when ever you touch it. Worst is you cant oil it or anything because all of the hinges and whatever are sealed in for protection. I bought a dell inspiron 1721 laptop about 10 months ago, when we received it would not work so i phoned the support line, it turned out that the 2 hard drives had not been connected in and they sent out these screws to connect them in place. since then the computer kept going to a blue screen and then safe mode, it then has crashed beyond repair and we lost everything on it. It was sent for repair and 2 new hard drives were fitted, within a week ...
...who claimed it was a software problem and i would have to pay £60 to have it sorted. After 2 hours of arguing with them they eventually agreed to have a look at it and it turned out they had to replace both lots of RAM and a complete new mother board.
