Oh and make sure you only use a cloth, as fingers do make the screen look messy...
::::SOUND QUALITY::::
Sound quality is nothing special, but is exceptable for the price. There are two stero speakers on this front, and you can control the volume using short cut keys on the key board or by clicking on Volume control once logged in.

Reliable is the keyword here
Review of Acer Aspire 5051AWXMi - Turion 64 mobile technology MK-36 2 GHz - 14.1" TFT by
Selfish
Advantages: Extremely reliable, good value for money, has a nice feeling keyboard.
Disadvantages: Feels cheap, not so good processor, a laughable battery life.
I've had this laptop for over a year now (A year and a half) and have encountered no significant problems whatsoever. Let me just fill in some detail here:
I use this laptop for around 5 hours (usually more) every day. That's a lot of usage for a year and a half. I have gotten chocolate in the motherboard, cracked the plastic surrounding the screen in the bottom left corner so that it won't close properly (Quite hard to explain), and I have hoovered ... ...clear it out.
I run multiple programs (Firefox - 15 tabs, uTorrent, WinSCP, Mirc UPP, Windows Live messenger, NOD32, KeyScrambler, and Magic Disk is what I am running at the moment, while typing this review on the same laptop).
I think this is fairly amazing for a 'budget' laptop. It's extreme reliability by far makes up for the not exactly high speed processor or the lack of RAM. The screen isn't that big either, but what are you expecting? For ...

asus a must have
Review of ASUS A6U B028H - Turion 64 mobile technology MT-30 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
madscientist2nd
Advantages: small light and reliable
Disadvantages: cost of badge
this asus laptop is a new range of laptops, as a well known fact they mad parts for the sony viao ange laptops so this means that their own range will be extremely reliable.
i found i liked this model alot because it was in mid range of all the laptops asus provide so it gave a perfect amount of everything to a laptop, this is including speed, memory.
i would like to say that this is a multimedia pc and gameplay and videos are excellent to watch ... ...W range they are alot faster without too much more cost.
the draw back that i found was when you overloaded the laptop with information it does slow down significantly, that does not happen with the W range of laptops.
if this is you budget then this is your laptop, but if you can spare more go for the W range. ...

All laptops should aspire to be a 5022WLMi
Review of Acer Aspire 5022WLMi - Turion 64 mobile technology ML-30 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
toxicreviewer
Advantages: 15.4 inch TFT display, large hard drive capacity, lightweight and portable, fast processing speed and top notch graphics card
Disadvantages: Battery life is less than stated, location of fan, unit becomes hot very quickly
...known to man, purchasing the Acer Aspire 5022WLMi for £679.99 from laptopsdirect.co.uk. I had the opportunity to test run the machine in Comet and PC World where the laptop was also available to purchase however these stores simply were not competitive when it came to price, with the laptop costing more than £150 more than I ended up paying.
£679.99 is a fairly competitive price for a laptop and I was impressed with the size, weight and speed at ... ...with the rest of the Acer series of laptops, obviously as it has a 15.4 inch TFT display it is slightly wider than most but it doesn't seem to affect the weight of the unit at all. With the battery installed within the machine the entire unit only weighs 3.1kg making it easy to carry around. The laptop arrives with pre-installed Windows XP that requires registering prior to using. The actual set up process to give the laptop a name, set up a locking ...
