MacBook, Get Yours.
Advantages: Smooth, silent, good looking, more than capable, satisfying. Disadvantages: Arguably the cost, some very minor issues in very few cases.
...people who can't really afford Apple products, but buys them anyway out of desire for perfection, and spends the following four years living on bare essentials. But those four years are being made bearable for me, due largely to the wonderful machine I'm typing on at the moment. I have no shame in admitting that I have fallen under Apple's spell, like a rich old man being hastily married to a buxom blonde for the contents of his will, and I'm fine ... ...off I popped to the Apple online store, and I began to read through the specification options, which were fairly straightforward (bearing in mind the starting price for the basic model is £749): *2 Gigs of RAM standard, or 4 Gigs for an added £80. I opted for the 4 Gigs on the advice of a friend, who has the 2 Gigs version and told me the upgrade would be better for running games in windows (which I'll come to later). He assures me, and I can back ...

Old design hides great new features
Advantages: Huge, High res display. Very quick, great processor, ram, high capacity HDD Disadvantages: No unibody design, some features only available on SMALLER model, Still no Blu-Ray
...I am a fan of Apple computer. This is no secret. I love more or less everything they do, and although I hope to be objective, here, you are reading the review of a card carrying member of the Cult of Mac.
I had heard that apple had been prepping a redesign to the MacBook pro line for some time, and had held off on purchasing my new macbook pro until this happened. Sadly, the updates came, and the 17 inch top end model was not part of the refresh. ... ...quite easy to achieve the apple quoted "5 hours wireless productivity" and when wireless and bluetooth are switched off, and the screen brightness turned down, you will easily achieve a full days college work on a single charge. The battery is quite large, physically, and carrying a spare will add significant weight to the bag, but thankfully, under most circumstances, will not be necersarry.
The computer also includes clever Apple features like ...

"The MacBook Air is an Extremely Thin"
Advantages: Thin light and oh so sexy Disadvantages: The price; it costs an awful lot for the tech spec
...that present comparatively rectilinear lines, Apple chose to conceive a chassis with very lightly rounded edges, which contributes to reinforce its thinness impression. The MacBook Air weighs a little less than 3 pounds. The body of the shell of the MacBook Air adopts a gray anodized surface similar to what one rediscovers on the Pro MacBook or on the rear face of the iPhone. Rather rigid, this shell makes good impression in the measure where the ...

Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 13.3" TFT
Advantages: New aluminum construction looks good, feels solid; attractive edge-to-edge glass display Disadvantages: Still no ExpressCard or SD card slot;
Apple's redesigned 13-inch Mac Book is essentially a shrunken version of the more expensive 15-inch Pro line. With its new aluminum body, new track pad, and Nvidia graphics, it's an even more attractive choice for mainstream laptop buyers than was the plastic model it replaces. This Mac Book's portability is already really good! It's light and the feel of the body is solid and oh-so beautiful!! The graphics are great in detail and you'll fall in ... ...is a breeze, flick downwards with four fingers and it activates expose. Flick upwards with four fingers and you go to the desktop, and i can even zoom at web pages and websites!! I can also rotate a piece of document or image, all done with your fingers on the track pad. This laptop won't disappoint and it's worth your money. The good: Fast start-up & shut down, long battery life, no hassle with virus, very stable, sleek design,improved integrated ...

The best laptop ever! PERIOD!
Advantages: Excellent speed, user friendliness, features Disadvantages: expensive, heats up at times.
Ive been using this machine since Dec 2008 and so far theres little that I have to complain. Good speed, amazing reliability and hardly ever does it crash. I bought it to basically power up my film production courses that Im doing and to help me with editing. Even though the total purchase was expensive compared to the other alternatives in the market, i'm still glad I made the purchase because up till now all that i've gotten is excellent usage ... ...newly introduced flat keys may look awkward at first but once you start using them they're a joy to have. You just cant do without them! The multi-touch trackpad was very awkward to use at the beginning, specially with the lack of buttons and all but now I must say the general ease of function has been the best thing and I keep on mistakenly looking for the multi-touch trackpad every time I use someone elses laptop. The overall feel and use of the ...
