Advantages: Fast and efficient
Disadvantages: Memory upgrades limited.

...fitting these, however, with the Asus it's there if you need it. These ports can also be useful as you can with the right software send faxes direct from your laptop. Extras >>>>>> Other ports include 4 USB for connecting a variety of external hardware. In addition there is a PCMCIA card slot available which can be used for connecting a whole variety of adaptors ranging from mobile internet to extra USB ports. Anyone into transferring pictures ...

Battery >>>>>> In my experience this is normally a bit of a let down with laptops as they never achieve any where near the figures quoted by the manufacturers. At the end of the day it will depend on what you are using it for. From my experience so far, ... Read review

Disadvantages: NO Frills

Hello all, I work at several large computer superstores and have access to them all on a daily basis. I Have not purchased these laptops but I instead work with them in order to bring you the highest quality consumer based reviews. I sometimes ask the opinions of my staff and also of customers to bring you up to speed. So without further interuption here is my review on the Acus F3Jc DESIGN This laptop is a boring grey plastic colour and wont ...
...really expect from this price-point, (this isnt a macbook air). Where it lets down in design it make up in build quality with all the fixings as you should expect. One thing I did notice was the weight of this machine so it isnt really useful for business travelers. The screen is nice and crisp and is 15.4 inches and as Ive said before this is pretty much the standard when it comes to monitors. In fact my Evesham Voyager from 3 years + ago has a ... Read review

Review of ASUS Eee PC 2G Surf - Celeron M - 7" by techno_man_37

Advantages: portability
Disadvantages: linux

asus EEE PC This review is of the relatively new asus EEE pc. Its been quite fun using and reviewing this one as its not like your usual laptops, and in many ways its a lot worse however at the end of testing it iv got to say I really like the asus EEE pc and however rubbish it might be I think I will end up buying one if some of the features just improve a little or if the higher spec editions become cheaper. I'm reviewing the cheapest version ...
...one of these. The asus eee pc is really small and versatile, its just 225 by 35 by 165mm which really isn't big at all. Unlike many other pc tablets of this size this one does look exactly like a laptop which is something I really like about it. It can come in a whole range of different colours however the only one I have used is the white one and is probably the one id get if I was going to buy one. A downside from some peoples point of view ... Read review

...expert on broadband, email and web surfing. If we'd bought her a Windows PC I doubt any of this would have been possible. So whatever my doubts as an experienced computer user, this Asus has opened up a vast world to my mother for which we are both extremely grateful! ... Read review

Small ASUS, Large features
Review of ASUS U3S 3P092E - Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by hauran

Advantages: GPS, HDMI, eSATA
Disadvantages: loud cooler

ASUS U3S is very well designed. When closed the notebook is whole black, Only on the back side is a silver line. Cover is made from metal and its surface is smooth and reflects like a mirror. It is nice, but you have to clean it often to keep the effect on:) The sides are hardened by metal so the construction is strong. Good thing is the leather surface arounf touchpad. The only thing i dislike about this mode are a bigger edges around display. ...
...front side is no connector, on the left Audio, card reader (MMC, SD, MS/Pro), Wifi switcher FireWire, USB, cooling output and S-video. The back side id filled mostly by battery, on the sides are VGA, modem and LAN. On the right side are the most interesting ports - Express Card, switcher of the graphics card, two USBs, port for external GPS antenna, HDMI output, eSATA connector to plig-in an external disc. So, as I wrote there are only 3 USB ports, ... Read review
