Asus F3F Review
Review of ASUS F3F AP010H - Core Duo T2050 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT by du4luv80

Advantages: 1GB of ram, Splended technology, Bluetooth and a 15.4'' WXGA
Disadvantages: 64MB Delicated memory for video and DuoCore not DuoCore 2

The Asus F3Fseries carries the ultimate features. Although it does not have a DuoCore 2 proecessor, it will still do its job for those who are businessman and internet users. Asus can assure you that with the high level of memory at 1GB, it will be capable of games with massive usage. It's built in camera makes it easy for those who are using Live MSN Messenger and Yahoo. At 1.3MP, that is 1,300,000 pixels, provides an ultimate veiwing picture. It's ... Read review

...who build up laptops. Asus is well-known for motherboards and now is starting to be better known for laptops and even though there were few reviews at the time of my purchase, I decided to take the plunge. For the price I paid (when my initial budget was £800), I got all the specifications I was looking for, and extras such as built-in camera, Bluetooth, an excellent graphics card. Opinion after 3 weeks: - It has not yet died on me, not even to ... Read review

Lovely laptop, but buyer beware
Review of ASUS V6J X001P - Core Duo T2500 2 GHz - 15.1" TFT by Spring280

Advantages: Slimline, BEAUTIFUL, great screen
Disadvantages: Terrible support service, fan runs high, weak case

...an earlier version of the ASUS V6J (the V6V), and it is truly a beautiful thing. It is fast, has a great screen, everything works beautifully. The fan does start up quite quickly after use and can be very hot - this can be an issue if you use your laptop on your lap a lot. The chassis is a lovely brushed metal and it has a great shape, but it is not very robust if dropped. The biggest issue is their repair centre and if I had known then what I know ...
...wires were exposed. The ASUS repair centre is an outsourced repair company and I have been told that they are not allowed to keep any parts on site. I sent in my laptop (had to write my own label and find own box and packing - Sony supply this for you) and sent it off. The repair centre takes 7-10 days to look at the laptop. And they found that I have a broken hinge (hmm, I think I told them this). It was an out of warranty repair, so I made immediate ... Read review

Review of ASUS A7Jc - Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz - 17" TFT by valentex

Advantages: build quality, high quality components, work performance, game and multimedia capabilities
Disadvantages: weight, lack of a numeric keybord, only 2gb limit of memory upgrade

My girlfiend has got a a7jc dual core for about a year... in her case the notebook is mostly used in architectural design and heavy vectorial software the reliability of thes machine is just mind blowing .. doing every thing that is expected and doing it well. I have waited for the new a7jc core 2 duo 7200 and i was not desapointed.... its a work station, game machine, multimedia center all in one. The notebook goes like a pocket rocket in aplications ...
...of its processor and its extremely fast ddr2 633Mhz memory, strangely this new more powerfull version of a7jc does not over heat as mutch as the previous first gen dual core.... expecialy in the area near the point of rotation of the lcd screen. sow it apears to have been some internal modification to the cooling system. well enough about work ... this machine also makes very impressive game performance, whith its ati x1600 512 mb video card it ... Asus V1J AK006P Review by eddysd
Review of ASUS V1J AK006P - Core Duo T2500 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by Eddysd

Advantages: Slim, High Resolution, Fast and good graphics. Also light
Disadvantages: Finger print scanner is a bit tempramental

This is a very good laptop in almost every way. I bought it on the 12th october, 2006, and so have had a bit of time to play about with it. First of all the speed of the laptop. It is a dual core 2GHz processor which admittedly isn't the best around but it is still a very good processor for a laptop and seems to get the job done pretty well. It has 2GB of ram, which some people argue is a little unecessary but it is still very good. The graphics ...
...and the resolution it can do on the screen that the laptop has, is 1680x1050, which is very high-res for a laptop. Also the graphics card has an HD-Video output port and so if you have and HD-TV you can play HD stuff from yout laptop onto the TV. There is a built in 1.3 megapixel camera which is good as webcams go. Also the camera has a motion detecter, which probably isn't too useful but is still quite cool. Anothre cool gismo that is built into ... Read review
