brilliant. i have owned five Dell laptops and they have all been excellent. i had one that had a problem, howeveri had the onsite warranty. they were out next day and fixed it in my house. parts and all. they were consistent in their reliablilty and seem that way acroos the range. the smaller models were better than the larger types. i.e Centrino cooler than the P4 versions. this is similar in all Lappys though. i enjoyed the simplicity of setting ...

...it, not to mention how dell is already having problems with the battery recall, what a mess! I had several conflicts, that take very long to resolve, but thank god I got the extended warranty. My hard drive, ethernet port, who knows what else, has all been replaced. They send several technicians over, next thing i know my laptop is in and, what a mess.
