i brought this product as a cheap laptop to do my work on for college. i found that it worked quite slow considoring the specs given. i also found that the battery dies quite quickly without the adaptor so unless you are anywhere with a power supply you might as well not bother taking it with you. however i was impressed with the look and the feel of it. and for what i want to use it for it seems to be satisfactory. i would however not recommend ... HP 530 - Core Duo is best for business as well as other uses. Previously i was owned other company notebook and occurs some problems everyafter 15 days...so i switched to HP 530 - Core Duo T2050 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT notebook. This is a laptop that's rating soley depends on what the laptop would be used for; for example, this laptop is not sufficient enough for the latest games, yet it works fine as a work accompanient and indeed, a home workstation: it even performs well as a video/music device. Set up is very fast and the system is very reliable (excusing Vista's slow response times) and has never broken down on me for the year I have owned it. T
