HP introduced the best 17" laptop known to man!
Review of HP Compaq Mobile Workstation 8710w by cobainkurdt

Advantages: HDMI port !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Disadvantages: HEAVY! and to be frank UGLY!!!!!!!!!

I myself do not own this product. However my friends owns this particular product and I use it very frequently. This laptop is great for playing games with its seventeen inch HD screen, even better for watching movies, great for surfing the internet as it has 2.4 GHZ (Giga Hertz ) processor speed. There is enough memory ( 2GB) and it includes Windows XP Professional. Not only does it contain these excellent range of features, it also includes : innovative ...
...the option to run Windows Vista. I myself do agree that looks and design wise this product does not cut it - in short its not pleasant to look at every time you go to upon it up to finish off you dissertation! # Nevertheless the innovative touchpanel can be used to launch a variety of applications and adjust volume which reduces time and effort. With regards to graphics: nVidia's Quadro FX 1600M is a brilliant chip for watching movies and playing ... Read review

A GREAT TOOL FOR BUSINESS
Review of HP Compaq Mobile Workstation nw9440 - Core 2 Duo T7600 2.33 GHz - 17" TFT by johnphilip

Advantages: Very fast, reliable, does the job it's made for
Disadvantages: Outer casing on the TFT panel could be stronger.

...somewhat washed out appearance. The HP display in contrast remains nice and bright and produces a very sharp image. A big benefit I have noticed with the display compared to my old laptop is the significant reduction in eye strain incurred over a long period of time. To complement the excellent display, the laptop is equipped with an NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500M graphics card. This particularly come into its own when using graphics suites especially 3D ...
...card has its own on-board 512Mb memory. I do have one criticism with the display in that the outer casing on the TFT panel does not offer as much protection as it should. It requires very little force to the exterior lid to be able to see pressure points appearing on the screen. In my opinion the laptop lid should have been made from a more rigid or strengthened material to offer a better degree of protection, especially as these TFT panels cost ... Read review

Review of HP Pavilion Media Center dv9655ea Entertainment - Turion 64 X2 TL-60 - 17" TFT by rally1998

Advantages: Everything, AMD Dual Core, Graphics, Looks, Performance, Specs
Disadvantages: None

The HP DV9655ea. As a small business owner (I.T) I have to have a Laptop. It's as simple as that. My old laptop was a Toshiba Equium M70 on XP. Being in I.T meant that I had to have the latest OS from Microsoft in order to help clients when they need help with Vista. Usually when somebody asks me to find them a laptop for their needs, I can do it swiftly, effectively and find them their perfect laptop. This was not to be the case with me, I sat ...
...myself down to where Toshiba, HP and Acer. I already had a Toshiba and to be honest, I really thought the speakers on their new version looked naff. Acer, a pretty budget make and often need repair. After going through specs after specs, I chose this laptop, Down to the build quality, reliability of HP. The Specs: AMD Turion 64 X2 2.0 Ghz Dual-Core Processor Nvidia 8400M GS Graphics 2 x 160GB HDDs (320GB) 2GB of DDR2 Ram Memory Card Reader ... Read review

HP Laptop
Review of HP Pavilion Media Center dv9667ea Entertainment - Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2 GHz - 17" TFT by justinscartoons

Advantages: very good looking, fast and lots of brilliant features
Disadvantages: Poor battery life and quite big.

This is an unbelievably fast and very good looking laptop. The finish on it is very nice and the shape of it looks good from any angle. Another great thing about this is the 320GB hard drive because you can store so much on there wothout having to worry too much about it becoming too full. The other features you get with this laptop are brilliant. For example the webcam records very clear videos considering the size of it, the TV tuner is also very ...
...TV, and the best thing out of all of the extra things that you get with it is the LightScribe technology in the DVD drive which burns designs and text into the top of the disc. Unfortunately you do need to buy special discs for this but they aren't that much expensive. At first I expected the quality of the designs it burnt into the top to be very grainy but it's very good quality. One bad thing about this is the size and weight of it but then on ... Read review
