I've had an R51 for about a year now and it still looks the same as the day I got it. I have had several Acer's an HP and experience with SONY's and they have all fallen down on build quality. Advantages: Trackpoint is SOOO much better than mouse/touchscreen

I bought mine secondhand from a nice friendly little computer shop, reconditioned. It came with a floppy drive, a cd rom drive and writer, a dvd drive and spare battery. It also came with a free carry case and a port thingy that you can just drop the laptop into; this port thingy holds connections to printer, modem, power etc. Now while this is great, meaning every time you want to move the laptop around, you don't have to mess around with loads ...
...and can lead to the computer having a problem communicating with the printer etc. However, the main thing I love about this little black number is the trackpoint feature. This is a tiny nub which sits just below the g and h keys.
