Cheep and cheerful
Review of HP 510 - Celeron M 360 1.4 GHz - 15.4" TFT by Dazzlin_uk

Advantages: Cheep laptop, resonable quality
Disadvantages: Spend a little more, get a faster laptop

I have been using this laptop for a couple of months and I think, for the money, this is an exceptional piece of equipment. My couple of gripes are long charging time, the right mouse button feels loose, it now takes a very long time to boot up (it was fine new and I have not added much software) and a very limiting hard drive. Also, this unit comes with 512mb ram but can only be upgraded to a max 1gb and uses special ram chips that need to be ordered ... Read review

Good Laptop, if you don't need asus support
Review of ASUS A6M Q033H - Turion 64 X2 TL-50 - 15.4" TFT by eltoncds

Advantages: 64bit processor, fast and realible, good battery life
Disadvantages: No Bluetooth, all USB behinde, it used to work a bit warm than intel processors

...to 2GB. But asus support is just waste of time, as I'm waiting for them just 6 months, only to come to my place, collect my laptop and fix a simple overheating problem (just dust inside) and a mini-PCI wireless adapter replacement which is not working very well anymore. You call them and they say to you go to their website and fill one application of service, always like that, but nobody call you back or have it to fix ... Read review

Advantages: Quick, Large memory, Longlife battery, Easy to use,
Disadvantages: Heavy

Fantastic Laptop. Very quick and has a huge memory. the screen is great and with a dvd player which comes with remote control it also works just as well as tele and hi fi. Havent had any problems at all with it and the wireless is also great as it connects straight away with no fuss. the memory is great and holds hundreds of songs and pictures. have had this nearly 2 years and it still shows no signs of needing replaced any time soon. Battery lasts ...
...music. It also has a media centre which allows you to view pictures in a slide show and listen to music through playlists etc without the need for windows media player. It is quite small and the buttons are soft and easy to use. The joystick is also sensitive which means you dont need to push too hard to get it to work. It also has a scroll button which allows you to use the joystick to scroll through the menus without any fuss. It is quite heavy ... Read review

...drain on memory. The best part of the ultra mobile pc was the finger tip technology which is very bondesque but works seemlessly, once set up kiss goodbye to all those endless username and password sign ins. Screen is slightly too small hence why I have upgraded to Sony TZ32! ... Read review
