Q1 Great product but not for everyone.
Review of Samsung Q1 Celeron M 900 MHz - 7" TFT by
havanslevin
Advantages: Extremely Portable
Disadvantages: Low battery Life, No keyboard/Mouse included
...is a great product from Samsung and microsoft. I have had mine for 3 months now and love how easy it is to use. The Q1 features a touch screen and seems to recognise all of my very scruffy hand writing. I don't use the dial keys that included and would like the input panel to be transparent but these aren't big problems. Only recently have I discovered that you can teach microsoft voice to recognise your voice and let you control your operating system. ... ...muddle some words up and believes you are saying something you aren't . The Q1 only has a 900mhz cpu, 40gb hdd and 512mb screen and this may seem bad for the price but the other perks totally make up for this mistake. The Q1 also features bluetooth and a mmc card slot. You can also boot straight into av station avoiding the os to play your music, video and photos this is a feature i don't use a lot but it does let you have the functions of a laptop ...

Samsung Q1 Ultra - VISTA 800 MHZ
Review of Samsung Q1 Ultra A110 800 MHz - 7" TFT by
karlywarly123
Advantages: Lightweight, portable, long battery life, great functionality
Disadvantages: Underpowered.
...casing, now typical of most Samsung electronical items will surely catch your eye. The Q1 has eyes of its own with 2 in built webcams as well as 2 dual microphones, perfect for conference calling or using the Q1 to answer calls via a bluetooth link with your mobile phone! The processor may not have blistering speed, but this is the most mobile pc running Vista out there. The 1GB of ram can be upgradeble to 2GB if you so wish. The onboard qwerty keypads ...

Inspiron 1525 and inspiration!
Review of Dell Inspiron 1525 by
aliswan1
Advantages: good processor, beautiful screen, loads of little extra perks
Disadvantages: cant think of any
This laptop is great! Dell gave me this free due to having so many problems with my old inspiron 6000, and i couldn't be happier. when it arrived i compared it to my old laptop, which dell let me keep until i had transfered my documents over, and it is by far the better quality laptop. its light weight, the keys are cushioned so you dont have that annoying clicking noise when you type. the screen is beautiful, it is so clear and the pciture quality ... ...can connect it to a HD TV and play games on a big sreen and a memory card reader which reads SD cards, XD cards and sony memory stick pro cards easily and transfers data quickly! the wedge shape tilts the keyboard for ease of use both on a desk and on your knee. I'm over the moon with my freebie laptop, and would have happily buy one if i needed to! ...

Dell Inspiron 1720
Review of Dell Inspiron 1720 by
a_k_bardot
Advantages: Reasonably Priced, Easy to Use, Large Screen
Disadvantages: Heavy
...reasonably priced and I trusted Dell products from my personal and friends' previous use. The screen is fairly large which conributes towards the ease of use of this particlular model. I have had it just under a year and I have experienced no problems whatsoever, I regularly browse the internet and have uploaded many photos but neither have slowed it down. Admitably I am not the most technically advanced person but I have found it so easy to use. ...

asus e pc
Review of ASUS Eee PC 4G - Celeron M 353 900 MHz - 7" TFT by
shanewheeler1987
Advantages: small lighweight
Disadvantages: linux os
The Asus e PC is the perfect choice for students who want to use their computer at home, at school, at work or on the move. Smaller than a A5 pad and weighs less than 1kg! This is one the best laptops you can get designed for internet browsing on the move! I removed the original Linux operating system and installed Windows XP SP2. very usefull. handy for browsing the internet by just touching the screen! I had owned it for 2 months only. however ... ...because most kids that have grown up around Microsoft don't want to have to get used to another os and as most colleges use xp on their workstations people are going to find it hard to get used to linux so please asus make xp standard on the e pc. ...
