VIAO for the home??
Review of Sony VAIO SZ71WN/C - Core 2 Duo T9300 2.5 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
piiindy
Advantages: Small, lightweight and packed with great gizmo's
Disadvantages: may be over budget
Sony Vaio's are well known for being the business types laptop, being expensive and packed with business type programmes and softwares, and especially hardware allowing people to comunicate and connect with the easiest of use. For example connecting to the internet or connecting a USB couldn't be easier on a laptop than it is on a Viao. But now with better graphics cards and a faster proccesor the Viao is more family freindly giving better movie ... ...this Viao is for around £1300 a good price for any laptop of this quality, and to be honest Sony have done well in this market and really with the support they offer and the quality of this product you really are in safe hands, and can't go too wrong. ...

All you expect from Sony without the high price!
Review of Sony VAIO AR51M - Core 2 Duo T7250 2 GHz - 17" TFT by

Advantages: Great all round quality product
Disadvantages: Battery life low, DVD Write speed could be better
...business and home use. My Sony Vaio has not let me down with either of these.
Design
*********
In general the design of the laptop, (although much the same as any other) is very good. The extra ports are well laid out and easy to access. The laptop is not as lightweight as others on the market, but is still light enough to be carried around with comfort. The keyboard is well designed and easy to use likewise is the touch-pad.
In terms of build ... ...with the amazingly clear screen. Sony have for some time been a brand leader with their range of black screens. The 17" TFT fitted to this laptop is no exception. The image quality and clarity is nothing less than superb. Before buying the laptop, I was a bit sceptical with regards to the "High-Res'" claims made by Sony. Having now had what can only be described as "The Pleasure" of owning it, I can confirm that "High Resolution" is exactly what ...

One book worth a read.
Review of Apple iBook G4 - PPC G4 1 GHz - 14.1" TFT by
Ideate
Advantages: Functionality, Speed, Look
Disadvantages: Minimal
Having not owned an Apple product before, i took a leap of faith into the unknown when i decided to buy this version, now i've had it for over 2years and i am still impressed. Even now it doesn't seem outdated with its slim 14" screen, sleek apple touch keyboard, and white gloss finish. It comes as standard with a 'slot' style loading drive which saves time and potential breakages. The laptop comes with quite a few trick features including colour ... ...hard drive - incase you drop it! The only niggles on this model are the USB port being on the left side which can make apple mice a reach for right handed people and its clunky 'plastic' style click on the track buttons. For the money prepare to be impressed! ...

Advantages: Dell, video card.

Its weight is approximatily around 5.6 lbs. Video editing can be done on this laptop with great ease and comfort coz it is one of the main specification of the laptop.
