...for reproductors and microphone. They were placed in front of laptop what is not so handsome. After few hours of initial testing i revealed a small bug - it is impossible to change the backlight intensity for the display. I tried to run a Linux system so i have to write some hints: The graphics card works well with the newest drivers from nvidia. Wifi card has no oficiall drivers from Intel so i tried ndiswrapper which some people made succesfull, ... Read review

...an external hard drive anyways. The display is very bright and clear, and the laptop is very stylish with its dark blue cover and bold Toshiba logo. I would seriously suggest this laptop to anyone in the market for a new computer but without a lot of money to spend. ... Read review

Vaio Wow?
Review of Sony VAIO AR61M - Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2 GHz - 17" TFT by Jammie1000000

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: A little costly

I love this laptop. It is a truly brilliant laptop and I have only managed to find one fault with it and that's the price. Looks The looks on this laptop are brilliant. Its just the right thickness and I love the black look. The keyboard and touchpad look good as well as does the traditional vaio logo on the top of the laptop. The huge 17 inch screen just helps make this laptop look the part. A great all round looking laptop. Functions ...
...A huge 200gb hard drive and a dual core processor make this laptop ideal for all the gamers out there and the GeForce Go 7600 graphic processing unit makes the on screen display look absolutely brilliant. This laptop also acts as a TV with a tv tuner and remote control and it also has a blu-ray player which almost no laptop currently has. There is also a built in webcam that is of a really high quality. Quality for money Compared to other ... Read review

A Little Beauty!
Review of Acer Aspire 5613AWLMi - Core Duo T2350 - 15.4" TFT by mickelmass

Advantages: Wireless Internet, dual core CPU & dedicated nVidia GPU
Disadvantages: Crap Acer software the comes pre-installed even though Vista does the same anyway!

...shown here is not the Acer Aspire 5613AWLMi as the Aspire 5613AWLMi (5610 series) does not have a built-in webcam and the picture here clearly shows a built-in webcam above the monitor! All in all, you cannot go wrong by getting one of these. As some of the other reviewers have said, with the nVidia 7300 GO 400 Turbocache GPU, it will play most of today's more modern games, with the exception of the very latest Vista compatible games as these are ...
...and wireless Internet connectivity, you can't go far wrong by purchasing this little beauty! It's has the usual and typical Acer brilliance, technology and price. This is my 3rd Acer computer to date - two desktops and this laptop. Buy it! You can't go wrong and you won't regret it! ... Read review

Dell XPS M1530 laptop
Review of Dell XPS M1530 by ilaskey

Advantages: Great feature set, fast, GFX card, HDMI out
Disadvantages: keyboard/touchpad could be better

...motherboard failure on my existing Dell Inspiron laptop and given its age, repair looked a bad move as one could buy a new laptop for less. However, once I decided to see what was available and given my two main criteria - a higher than usual resolution screen and three year warranty, I suddenly found the price spiraling upwards. After much searching I settled on an XPS M1530. The price on the Dell web site was around £1000 but a phone call to Dell ...
...blue lid and nice chromed Dell logo and the body looks smart but not overly flashy with its brushed aluminium and black plastic plus blue lights. The grill over the speaker does seem to attract bits of dust and dirt and needs a quick brush now and then to avoid it looking like you've just eaten your lunch on it (which to be fair is pretty much what is causing the bits) but apart from that the M1530 looks the part. The XPS M1530 comes with a fingerprint ... Read review
